There is very little actual info here still. A few exact dates, no info on caps, no info on prizes and eligibility, no info on price. Does UK give out flight or something over the kit?
Also would still be good to have all info in one post updated for overview.
UK 12th / 14th August (Birmingham)
Polish 27th / 28th August (?)
German 1st / 3rd September
Italian 3rd / 4th September (?)
Belgian 17th / 18th September (Liege)
Nordics 24-25th September (Stockholm)
Spanish 24-25th September
French 1st / 2nd October (Paris)
Is there any other info available? I have that weekend free and I’m researching possibilities to go to one of those events, so would be nice to at least know the city and start/end time.
2 days tourney, saturday 24, full swiss, top 8 sunday morning. They do the event in Madrid, in a centric venue, with very good connections and tons of places for staying. Very cool place, full of clubs and pubs, well played by Edge this time.
25 bucks entry fee (ugh!) and trip is only aviable for spanish people
Info and Sign-ups here. As is customary, social evening on Saturday after Swiss. Looking forward to meeting some new awesome friends, just like last year!
We’re poor so we’re not giving away plane tickets, but winner gets the seat no matter which country they hail from!
Regarding slovakion nationals:
Will the swiss rounds and top cut be determined in accordance with the official ffg rules or will it be top 16 like last year?
Depends on the number of players participating and regional superbyes being used, but honestly - the “Advanced Structure” chart from Tournament Regulations 1.1.3 strikes me as reasonable right now. Am planning to test it out at Regionals on the 30th, we’ll see how it goes.
