Untested/Non-competitive Decklist MegaThread

Potentially, I need to play test the damn thing. I’m hoping data dealer is workable, because it’ll enable just running a lot and using blackmail as a surprise

I always run into click compression with those cards, stuff like hyperdriver and AI breakers help a lot. Consider big overminds with hyperdrivers and maybe LLDS proc. Give yourself time to get those notorieties!

I’ve been using Fan Site and Data Dealer in Andy and it’s awesome. Being able to Lucky Find for free and one click feels so great.

Public Support seems legit, cheapest way to get an agenda point and the runner cbf trashing it.

No one has tried making a deck with Media Blitz & Restructured Datapool yet. Any thoughts on how to make it work?

Making news for the extra credits seems mandatory; but, giving up 3 points to achieve a tag is probably a bad plan. I’ve actually played that agenda with the intention of scoring it (used to use it in FA even to make closed accounts work if it got set up); but, ultimately a runner with link means you’re spending a click to tax a credit and you’re losing the game. Corp needs something like “link” that just boosts their base strength. Would like to see that on an ice some day.

19-agenda Philotic Entanglement deck with 24/7 News Cycle to double trigger it. (This deck could probably be done with fewer agendas but where’s the fun in that?) News Kills · NetrunnerDB

annoy remotes with faust. mill. idfk. more stable to play in another Anarch since you kinda want all 3 WNP & Fall Guys. Val maybe better to poke remotes with Blackmail and only need 1 Levy

New deck idea:

TWA inspired me to make this. It’s a terrible, terrible idea. But if it goes off once, then I’ll be a very happy man. Putting Hollywood Off The Grid occurred to me too. Maybe that’s better. It doesn’t really matter as I’ve already said, this is a really bad idea.

It’s not that this deck is untested; it’s that the econ engine has a fatal flaw that Batty & Keegan Lane & powershutdown exploit. Against almost anything else it’s viable. You might prefer clot over something else in the deck but slots are hard. You also might prefer 2x cache over 2x threader, but slots are hard and the extra econ can go along way.

I played against Sahasrara / Aesop in Hayley and it seemed pretty powerful. The Prof version looks awesome.

Here’s some more Weyland jank: First, a BABW deck that uses traditional Scorch plans to avoid the Film Critic problem, plus some traps to hit people who automatically run at your double-advanced Posted Bounties

Second, the first NRDB deck to use Shannon Claire. It ditches Government Takeover to the bottom of the deck and forces the Runner to try and score 4 out of 6 remaining agendas.

Trying to make Showing Off overpowered, eh?

In my write up I mention that you can use Executive Boot Camp to counter Showing Off.

Biomodernism

The runner has to play carefully around Komainu and Psychic Field, since ending the turn on 1 card or less lets you flip The Brewery to win, and each power counter on Snoop or Viktor 2.0 adds 1 to the runner’s minimum safe hand size. It only takes one power counter and a Genetics Pavilion to make even a first click run lethal. So while the runner is fretting, you can put some agendas behind basic gear checking ice and score them next turn to try and get to 7 points.

After my first game, versus Fisk, I have learned that you should probably always name FIS with Marketing. I named Sure Gamble and then Account Siphon, and never made any money off Targeted that game. Still squeaked it out. This ICE list really taxes the hell out of Faust (:

I may swap the 15 Minutes for another BN, because BN off SanSan into All Seeing (granted, only 1 in here) hoses a lot of decks.

Little Engine may seem odd, but rushing out the first Astro behind it seems like a fair enough idea to try. After that, ICE up the remote again with a Tollbooth or Ichi. My idea is that if they don’t have enough money to get through Little Engine’s first 2 subs, the last sub doesn’t matter.

I’ve seen more and more people running Spiderweb to deal with Lady tokens, and it makes me a sad Shaper. If the trend continues, I might be forced to take drastic measures.

It’s a long way away from done, but it should be a blast to get there.

Silencer takes up so much influence. It almost seems worth running a Self Modifying Code instead (it can fetch Cloak or anything else you need) except that the deck is so memory hungry.

Here’s another crim deck with a Blackguard + Expose theme and a 2-link theme. 2-link goes well in Criminals because the home invasion breakers let them save influence on breakers and GSC doesn’t cost any more influence than splashing R&D Interface or Medium.

Intro
I’ve been playing and tuning this for a month plus. Thought it might be interesting for others who dream of making ST good. The simple idea is to make the strength from ST count, by getting money, and stacking bioroids. Melange as only econ is bad in ETF because every of the 5-8 turns where we melange, we lose the free install cred. ST is unique in the amount of tax you can put on a server with 2 ice, allowing you to set up melange early.

Testing is still ongoing.

Core plan

  1. Set up melange with any 2 of v1,v2,e1,m1,turing on top of it ASAP(turns 1-3), with 1 ice on rnd and no ice hq except vs crim or expected siphon, allowing them to steal 3 pointer from HQ.
2a. Melange the perfect number of times such that you have enough for all expected expenses for this game(usually between 5-8 times for normal games but less vs big dig decks). You can’t afford to underestimate your expenses because there is literally no other economy. Better to overmelange than to undermelange. When they trash melange, install another of your 12 melanges(3 melange, 3 tech startup, 3 archived memories, 3 interns), and also the caprice/ash/heinlein when you get it.
2b. In between melange turns, install ice and upgrades on the right servers.
  2. Score a vanity and a 5/3 to win. Fast track to get the vanity/hades fragment that you need.

Tech
Lag time versus atman 5(the best atman which hits 6 ice)
Fast track to get the agendas when you are ready to score, or to get hades vs noise or wireless DLR.
CVS is extra good for resetting parasite because of stronger ice.

No operation economy whatsoever? I don’t think this deck can work at all. You’ll be clicking for single credits in order to rez any of your ICE while you wait for melange to show up. As soon as it does the runner will be trash it, you’ll get at most tow uses out of each one, probably less.

Also, most Shapers are playing either Gordian Blade or a CyCy-Zu combo, either of which makes code gates on your remote look a bit silly. The ICE is probably robust against Anarchs, but they’re so fast currently that you probably just lose before you can get much of it rezzed. If I’m an Anarch I drop Medium and run R&D. You’ll rez one thing (bankrupting yourself) and I’ll click it. You’re now going to choke for a number of turns while you click for money, meanwhile I can probably kill the R&D ICE and go to town.

I kinda agree, it seems that sticking the Melange vs a good player is going to be very difficult. I do think that if you can get a couple turns of Melange, you’re in a strong position unless the runner got a 4-pointer because of that.
