Anyone experiment with the currents in escalation yet?

Scarcity of Resources is seeing some play. Check out these sick games:

This Stinson Sol list took 2nd at a SC for me this weekend. There’s a lot of Employee Strike around, which doesn’t necessarily make Sol better than other IDs but you’re more likely to have a counter current in hand. Targeted Marketing is one way to slightly hedge against incredibly strong runner strategies (e.g. ParaSifr, Siphon). News Hound is still one of the best ICE in the game. There’s a longer write up on NRDB.

Is Data Ward even worth it in a Crim (Aaron) and/or ICE destruction meta?

It’s OK, a lot worse since Aaron came out obviously. It can win games if you land a Midseasons, though. You could adjust the ICE to be some number of Resistor and/or IP Block and be fine.

I made some small changes on @spags Sol Glacier list and took a SC with it this weekend here in SoCal. Navi Mumbai City Grid helps against Aaron and other instant tag removals/avoidance, such as NACH. It did quite a few work on the day, since all I saw was criminals everywhere…

Glad to hear! Navi is great v Aaron in there. Didn’t get smashed with Sifr? My only recent change was trying 2 FIHP over AM.

Grats, @raphaeln!

SoCal is Crim land, unlike those anarch scumlords to the north. This Sol was my Leela’s only loss on the day, and it was frustrating as hell :(.

Thanks, @spags! And props to your deck!

As @StephenE said, SoCal is Crim land and all I faced on the day was that. @Sirris was playing a janky Sifr Geist deck with the bird breakers, but the News Hounds were just too much for him :stuck_out_tongue:

Sifr Geist? Sounds like my deck, too.

But are you also playing the birds breakers?!? :astonished:

They do pair well with Sifr.

Interesting! But @Sirris was also playing Golden and his influence seems to be very different.

Yeah, clearly an inferior build. Golden is a toilet.

Another option is fitting in an Atman.

LOL, well, you tell that to @Sirris

Oh yeah, Atman also pairs very well with Sifr.

if stimhack had signatures…
