Post your terrible decks

Here’s one I played against @cmcadvanced one or two monthes ago. I think that was the most hilarious game I had in a long time since he played a very janky deck too.

I can assure you that this deck will lead you to great failures. In the meantime your opponent will say WTF LOL quite a few times. That’s because of the inherent power of this deck that exists in a place lost in space and time. And in my imagination.

My favorite part is the low count of all cards crucial to your strategy because so much support is required for it to even possibly work once in a while.

The best thing about this thread is that it’s like the front page of NRDB but without the delusions of grandeur.

I’ve tried some Surveillance Sweep decks and while I admit to being A Bad it seems like a questionable idea to base your entire deck around a current that you might not even find. Of course that’s kind of the point of this thread.

Sometimes you have a bad idea in netrunner that you want to make work and you keep adding more and more jank and you end up with something like this:

2x Sage (The Source)

This was a real deck that we didn’t build as a joke. It started as an legitimate attempt to use off campus apartment in Hayley and ended up with Sage (Got so much free MU, got to make use of it!), Dinosaurus and Creeper. The idea was to quickly install a bunch of drip economy and then the break cost of sage/creeper wouldn’t matter. It didn’t quite work out though my playtest partner has never quite given up trying to use off-campus apartment.

Shit,I just have realized this deck does not include DLR.

You’ve got Constellation Protocol in there, you might not have had a total misunderstanding

Wait a sec, how did you go from building bad decks and writing ridiculous write ups to blasting the NRDB lists that are bad decks and have ridiculous write ups? They kicked you out, didn’t they? They kicked you out of Jank Club and on that day you swore before you breathed your last breath, they’d pay, they’d all pay.

The 2 fragments are GFI. For some reason NetDeck doesn’t have D&D cards yet.

Idea is to do some typical Tennin turtling early. Figured I would try Quicksand here despite its early vulnerability. Functions somewhat as a reverse Ice Wall, growing when they run to deny you a token. Hudsons stick out, too, but another card I want to try, After facing it in some HB lately and seeing how obnoxious it is when you’re trying to deep dig I. Also I realize it protects Crisium if they run through which is funny. Rest of stuff is pretty typical.

Scoring plan is a 1 or 2 deep remote. Two options. One is to train any combination of Nisei and Predictions. Back up plan is to just score with Caprice. Feels good to be Jinteki and have a ‘back up plan’ that other factions splash 4 dots for.

Anticipated weaknesses: Faust; DLR. I tried to keep D4vid vulnerability as low as possible; maybe I made it too vulnerable to Faust as a result.

You must have D&D unticked in the ‘sets’ options - I have netdeck and they’re there.

Oh right; I’ve tried that. My app crashes upon trying to access that option, likely cause I’m on an outdated OS.

I give you my first tournament deck. I think I am a bit better at deck building nowadays…

2 GFI take you to 17 influence, no?

The Fragments are also a pip each so it should stay at 15.

Here’s a BWBI build I’m gonna try next week at LGS. I played a similar one about a year ago. The biggest changes are the Conditions. The Patch may be unnecessary, but I figure giving Negotiator and Builder ETE may not be awful. Negotiator is also for Wormhole.

Aiming for a solid tier 2 BWBI list. 3 influence left in case Hollywood is too cute. The third Negotiator could be a Wendigo.

Now I’m more confused. My copies of the fragments definitely don’t cost pips.

You’re 100% right; Jubelale got me f*****n it up. In that case maybe I have to lose the Hudsons or play TFP. Will probably try the latter first

A deck where you try and rush out government takeover or, more likely, lose trying. Everything about this deck is kinda bad, but it’s really fun.

Looking at it again, a Guard or two could be Archers, since I put Hostiles in to help score out.

Interesting. I might lean toward an even cheaper ICE package, since slow advancing GT is actually a pretty expensive affair. Changeling in particular sticks out; perhaps another Quandary or Enigma in that slot. I think it’s fairly unreasonable to assume a Runner won’t be able to get to GT in time. This lists looks like it has a better shot of killing the Runner once they steal it. I could be wrong. Runners will certainly have a lot of time to clear your gear check and steal GT. they’ll probably dig for their film critics too if they have them. A hilarious one-of would be a Ghost Branch.
