AgInfusing someone more than once per turn is not entirely trivial, though.
Speaking of cards that proc more often than other cards, I’m already having extremely implausible jank daydreams about the suddenly large turtle I’ll have with GPI Net Tap

Seems like the turtle will catapult Noise to tier 1 overnight. Card seems really strong, I’m gonna play it with Aeneas and Aesop’s
I tend to think it’ll go in-faction for Criminal Aggro. I already run Desperado and Aeneas all day erry day. Once you bounce off a few assets you’ll be able to make extremely cheap central runs. It will replace Mammon as the perfect ‘backup’ Crim breaker (except now your non-AI breakers are kind of the backups)
Having the card installed, on the correct server, that gets run on the second Ag redirect, when the runner still does not have an answer to this ICE, is much too narrow of a use case to justify giving this card a slot.
For the short time it is possible, I think I will try Aumakua in an Andromeda AuRevoir-deck.
I agree there are restrictions to it but it is the same for Career Fair. You have to be playing enough valid targets for it to be worth the include.
I think the biggest downside to it is that you can only use it for remote servers so it does not help you secure centrals in the early game. I also suspect it can’t be used to create a remote server - if the server does not currently exist, there is nothing for it to target. That could be a downside as well.
Sure, but this number simply equals the number of ICE in your deck; there’s nothing about the ICE needing to be advanceable. Sure, they only do something on the advanceable ICE, but shit like Trick of Light and (probably more notably) Red Planet Couriers exists. I honestly think that this is going to be the final enabler for an actually powerful Weyland FA deck. It feels like it’s already very close, and getting free advancements coupled with an install sounds honestly fantastic.
That is a very good point. The runner has to respect the fact it is a scary piece of ICE whereas it could just be a Vanilla.
I think I am going to have to play around with this - seems like a good and fun idea. It allows better ICE to rush behind early game and when your opponent is setup and can get through your ICE, you have the finishing move of Red Planet Couriers. It is a shame the Atlas train will not be around for much longer.
Graft train Admittedly, brand new deck first time out but I RPC’d a Graft for the win with my BoN deck last night. Currently tossing between Kaguya and Priority for slots, and thinking it might go to Priority
Diana’s hunt doesn’t say you can’t prevent programs from being trashed, so get your torches, femmes and morning stars in hand, a few sac cons and dummy boxes and get breaking the game
I also thought the card only said once per run, I had to reread it.
Going to miss Morningstar and Torch, but Inversificator is quite fun in builds like this.
I’ll be happy to be proven wrong, but given the cost to set up the combo, the number of cards involved, and the cost to play Diana’s Hunt itself, I suspect that it’s going to be only a little bit more gamebreaking than, say, Eureka/Monolith
Sadly, yet again, Dummy Box doesn’t prevent your own trash effects.
Oh hey, Crimson Dust’s status on the Upcoming page is Shipping Now. Doesn’t currently have a release date, though, unlike the previous few releases.
Probably be out GenCon week?
Oof, right in the facts. Well sac con is still good, and it’s not like you can’t figure out how to make “breakers in heap” a desirable board state. I’m almost expecting this card to be an over priced blackmail just to prevent people from installing a femme or mass driver for free.
Just noticed they finally updated Crimson Dust to have a US release date.
Of 8/17, aka tomorrow.
As a reminder to those playing in the NA Championship on Friday, it will more than likely not be legal for it since it’s a Premier-tier event and so has the 11-day cool-down. So don’t accidentally get DQ’d for thinking you’d be cute and put those cards in your deck.
(However much I’d kill a man for that to not be the case, since I totally want to get my hands on Priority Construction and Fractal Threat Matrix.)
So… Turtles is good guys.
Don’t know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but
