I think I might know whats wrong with your game then.
SHL4 is a great place to see if your ideas have a shot against CalimKate and whatever variety of RP
Too much pressure?
So, turns out Nasir vs Butchershop is an… unfortunate… matchup
Dang, just decided to “get serious” and play some Stealth Andy (“everyone is playing RP,” he says) and went up against @wrathofmine’s NEXT deck. Next Silver is pretty good when your opponent doesn’t have a Parasite.
Amen. Been tinkering with a Parasite Andy that runs 3x Career Fair, 3x Casts, 3x Earthrise, as if that will somehow help the NEH matchup.
still getting devoured and (mostly) loving it
No need m8. The league rules are clear, if the game is not finished or in a state so that the winner can be determined, the match will not be reported. Crystal clear and fine by me.
Also, “accusing” someone who has the guts to play Nasir in SHL for slow play? Nah! I will not be the one. Thnx for the game.
Play the game, enjoy the game.
Cheers m8!
Meanwhile in SHL4, RP kills Reina bluffing Fetal as TFP.
The runner’s stack was empty, 1 card left in his grip. One of those insanely long games.
Shouldn’t you blur out the names above the hand?
All the same, that’s an impressive play to pull off, considering there’s only 2 damage on Fetal. Nicely done!
Our names are not inappropriate!
I just mean the chat is blurred. I assumed that was to cover player IDs.
EDIT: Also, maybe it’s just me, but I know some people are sometimes…touchy…about revealing their decklists, particularly with regionals right on us. It never bugs me to show other people mine (no tournaments for me), but I realize others have issues with it. I don’t even look at someone’s deck on OCTGN without asking first, and you’re literally showing his entire deck for all to see here. If circadia had no issue with it, then it’s whatever, but I personally would have qualms about posting that screencap on the forum.
EDIT 2: Especially when people were questioning how much to put in the comments for games for this league for this reason - like mentioning “I didn’t expect flatline in RP” giving away too much information that the loser would prefer not get out. More than a few avoid mentioning IDs for this reason, simply saying “Corp win” without listing the final score or IDs used.
Just to be completely clear, what you (or anyone) chooses to reveal about their own deck/style/experiences are one thing, but when dealing with others’ decks or other information they might prefer to be more discreet about, I personally prefer to err on the side of caution, and assume that they want to keep information limited.
You’re right. Edited. Sorry circadia, should’ve asked you for permission.
Cheers, brother. All’s well that ends well.
While playing a Corp game vs. @arcius my computer froze and I had to restart, being unable to reconnect. The score was 2 points to 0 with him in the lead. No hard feelings if you want to report a win on that, sorry to waste your time
No worries. Could have still gone either way.
Just had a match with Slakker, rejected results, initially. Behind on sleep, had forgotten we were playing a league match. We went 1-1 (I had forgotten this too) and both rereported. Hopefully it all shakes out correctly. (tcody616)
Can I still sign up to get destroyed? At least I’ll (hopefully) do better than SHL2…
Yes you can!
Im cornering the market on getting destroyed
