You’re sure it works that way? I read the “Whenever you gain credits through a card ability other than from NASX, you may spend up to 2 to place that many power counters on NASX” different. Like when you spend 2 creds, you put 2 counters on NASX. Which means in your example I put only 2 counters on it, which means click/trash for 4c (not 18c).

Re-read Sure Gamble, it’s written on it “gain 9c”. It means I gain 9c from a card ability. No matter if the cost was 5c or even 15c for it.

NASX trash ability does combo with mass rez and IUSE tho.
