Quite a good episode, aside from some minor audio mixing issues which caused me grief as I walked down a busy street trying to listen.
I have to say, though, that one thing at the very end stood out to me, so much that I had to re-listen to it today to make sure Iâd heard it correctly:
Sam: Iâm glad Iâm not the only one that hates Shaper, andâ
Stephen: Thereâs a lot of us.
Ve: Itâs like a breakup.
Sam: Itâs one of those things where like all the⌠less competitive players love it and then thereâs just a sect of competitive players where itâs like âI want all these cards to rot.â
Yeah I miss the days when shaper wasnât about telling your opponent that you won the game 5 turns ago and they are locked out of the game.
The aspect I liked about them that used to be their big thing was mid run tricks and cheating out big programs (sometimes also mid run). They really spoke to the âtimmyâ in me.
