Core+Genesis Djinn Anarch (Noise)

I hope you don’t mind if I ask for your comments, thoughts and suggestions on another Core+Genesis decklist again.

I am kinda the alpha gamer in our group, so if one of us struggles with a deckbuild I am the one who tries to buff it up a little bit. I really like to play shaper, but a few in our group wanted to play with anarch, but they weren’t very successful so far. Anarch was struggling in our meta, both when were playing with only the core box, 3 core boxes and now with core+genesis.

I have read many-many decklists but when we try them out we can’t pilot them at all.

I toyed around with this decklist for some time now and it seems to work very well, I have 5-0 against Jinteki, 2-3 vs NBN fast adv, 3-1 vs Weyland (normal?) and 2-4 vs HB glacier. I am curious what your oppinion is on it.

Coincidently it is MWL 1.2 legal

Genesis - Anarch - Noise - Djinn deck

Noise: Hacker Extraordinaire (Core Set)

Event (14)

Hardware (3)

Resource (11)

Icebreaker (3)

Program (14)

15 influence spent (max 15, available 0)
45 cards (min 45)
Cards up to Future Proof

Deck built on NetrunnerDB.

If you play vs decks of that time, I think you shouldn’t use the MWL.

At that moment, for Noise, Workshop Noise were very good, you could take inspiration from those

 1. Why are you spending so much influence on snitch?

 2. A third parasite seems better as you only have crypsis. Being able to take down a bunch of ice to make your crypsis less expensive seems important.

 3. Regarding 2, I think you also need at least one more datasucker.

Also unsure about the Snitches, so with that in mind, these are the changes I would make, in the spirit of what you’re going for…

Sure.

We tried a couple of those, but we couldn’t pilot them (especially me). To be honest I am not a big Anarch fan, so I usually played against it and won. This decklist above is my first successful Anarch decklist.

 1. Why are you spending so much influence on snitch?
With Djinns I can’t afford a single facecheck, if I loose a program it will be a Djinn hosting my Medium and Datasucker. But I guess I should try it without them.

2. A third parasite seems better as you only have crypsis. Being able to take down a bunch of ice to make your crypsis less expensive seems important.
I usually Tutor up the Parasites and Deja Vu them back, so 2 were fine, but I think you are right, a third one would be better.

3. Regarding 2, I think you also need at least one more datasucker.
Yeah, one didn’t make much of a difference, two would be better.

Anarch has the best breakers, so go for the full set instead of Crypsis. Crypsis is too slow against glacier.

I would go:
-2x Crypsis
+1x Corroder
+1x Yog.0
+1x Mimic
+1x Femme Fatale

I would probably drop all Snitches as well.
-3x Snitch
-1x Pheromones
+1x Parasite
+2x Datasucker
+2x Imp

Personal Workshop is a great addition. Run 3. “Noise-shop” works great with Stimhack and Wyldside, since you can dump relevant Programs and Hardware on it, without directly paying for them.
+3x Personal Workshop
+1x Déjà Vu
-2x Public Sympathy
-2x Surge
-3x Infiltration

With influence to spare. Maybe drop Deep Thought so you can include an Account Siphon.
All valid comments and good ideas, thank you for your feedback!

What do you say about this one?

This is a variation on a tournament winner deck.

I am sure that I will miss the Snitch, especially against Jinteki. The Wyldside+Public Sympathy+Stimhack worked quite well and I never felt that I would need a Plascrete (probably a piloting error on my opponents part), and Public Sympathy worked well against Jintekis Net dmg.

In the same strategy (Noise run), I like the last one better than the first.
The only thing I would adjust here is -1 Cyberfeeder +1 Datasucker.

But still, in term of pure reliability, Noise shops were “better”.
This one is flexibility over efficiency, which I think is pilot’s flavour. I usually like those decks, but they won a lot less tournaments than the efficient decks

I tried out noise shop finally, thanks to your suggestion and man you were right! It is an unstoppable juggernought!
Without Jackson it is brutal.
And it will become even more powerfull with more datapacks.
This for example:

Is incredibly powerfull when you play against it without Jackson.
