Loophole: place your hand on your deck before playing Inside Job and get a free SMC.
I donāt see how Null works with Wyrm or how Khan synnergizes with Data Dealer.
(No, but seriously, Siphon is crims best card from core and Mimic for anarchs, even though parasite sees a lot of play, mimics power level as the only reasonable sentry breaker is undisputed)
a debate I guess. Actually what is the strongest shaper core card? Iām drawing a blank.
Kate =P
real talk
But honestly, probably something like Aesopās, Diesel, or Makerās? Shaper has a lot of weird shit in Core.
Makerās Diesel Gordian MOpus ?
diesel and mopus were awesome for their time, but they havenāt kept it up
maybe makers, but turning has slapped it down from being splashed iām sure
Gotta agree with @Saan : Builder of Nations seems under the curve, and not particularly cohesive with Weyland strategies.
Also gotta agree with whoever said these new cards āare somethingā ⦠A few of these cards seem to come close to jumping the shark for me. CI Investment seems overly complex and largely unnecessary. The Criminal resource is cool, and definitely seems painfully aware of its intended role: a replacement for Desperado. But guess what, this card synergies with Desperado, and what do Criminals always need desperately? More credits.
Not excited by these spoilers like I was 23 Seconds, but itās even more apparent how different a direction Damon wants to take ANR, and thatās not necessarily bad.
tldr reserving judgment
As opposed to their normally totally mundane card pool.
What all this reminds me of was pre-release discussions of how good PE was. How many triggers before itās worth it?
That Weyland ID is fucking terrible. FUCKING terrible. It would be good if it was once per Run or 17 Inf, but as is⦠It is bad. The designers shit on Weyland yet again. God damn it.
Iām super confused by people saying Temujin Contracts is a replacement for Desperado. Desperado is still 3c for 20-30c over the course of the game, and it synergizes perfectly with Temujin. Desperado + Temujin + Sec Testing is 1 click for 7 credits every turn for 5 turns. It might mean that I can take out some of the Sure Gambles, Dirty Laundries, Bank Jobs, and Daily Casts from my Crim deck, but Iām certainly not taking out Desperado!
Im excited to try Liquidations with Mumbad Construction Co. and a Casting Called Government Takeover. Just wait behind a glacier server and BAM. Cash out.
Agreed; itās not a replacement, just some supplemental income.
Ok, just had a thought. What if with this new money dude you just cut your efficient breakers, make your deck just a ton of money and multiacess, and play crims terrible breakers. Aurora, Peacock, and Ninja.
I think spending inf on good breakers is kinda like adding money, since youāll be spending less on runs. That should still leave tons for Multiaccess.
@Sann Redemption for Muresh Bodysuit?
Yeah I am pretty hyped for Temujin Contacts. Desperado, Sec Testing and John Massanori with this make for a pretty compelling econ package for crim (plus any of the other existing stuff people slot that you like/need). You can set it on R&D or HQ for repeated runs being made more affordable, or if they have an open remote you can hit over and over for 5 turns you just run it for 7 credits (and a card with John!) a click. Itās pretty rad.
I think it could make Career Fair viable in goodstuff crim decks, too. Iām pretty keen to try it out with Earthrise and Daily Casts.
This may have real legs punishing asset spam out of crim. And it is a good chunk of cash in other matches (although not quite as liquid against glacier).
Poor ct.
Contracts is bonkers. It works with instead of accessing effects, so things like bank job, patron, sec testing etc. So the typical dirty laundry, desperado, sec testing run can also earn 4 creds on top of it. Or a 20 cred swing if you do a siphon.
