NAPD Contract vs Braintrust in Jinteki PE

I’ve played four or five games with NAPD Contract and it’s clearly a very strong agenda. But should it replace a “blank” 3/2 such as Braintrust? Often people won’t run a never-advanced Braintrust, but it’s actually better if they run NAPD and either bankrupt themselves doing so, or get to the end and can’t steal it.

What do you think? Here’s my current list, which I’m taking to Store Championships on Sunday.

Power Shutdown Spam (49 cards)

Jinteki: Personal Evolution

Agenda (10)
2 Braintrust
3 Clone Retirement
2 NAPD Contract
3 Priority Requisition

Asset (9)
3 Jackson Howard
3 Shock!
2 Snare!
1 Sundew

Upgrade (2)
2 Caprice Nisei

Operation (12)
3 Celebrity Gift
3 Hedge Fund
3 Power Shutdown
3 Subliminal Messaging

Barrier (5)
3 Himitsu-Bako
2 Wraparound

Code Gate (3)
1 Enigma
2 Quandary

Sentry (8)
2 Archer
3 Grim
2 Neural Katana
1 Swordsman

I feel like I would play something else instead of the Priority Requisitions.

Agreed with above.

I would prefer the 2/3, but more because I prefer in faction cards to neutrals.

I would go with the NAPD for your list though, because it looks more for attrition than speed.

But I’m not too well versed with the new good Jinteki decks.

You’re playing Clone Retirement and Grim, which can both give you bad pub, so you probably don’t want to run NAPD in this deck.

I’d also be kind of wary about running Clone Retirement together with NAPD Contract. Runner gets lucky and snags a couple of those, it’s just two agenda points, but now all your Contracts at 6 advance for 2 points. Plus any BP from Grim, oof.
