3 parasites and 1 clone chip from MWL is +4 influence, dropping 2 clone chips is -4 influence. I think Noise is fine post-MWL.
If youāve kept your kill combo and swapped in Beale for Astro, then you can much more easily sell a shattered remains as an IAA. It changes where your pressure lies. Also, putting QPM in your decks and keep data ravens/guttenbergs on centrals to give yourself some extra points.
I think Haarp kill stays quite strong with the changes.
Iāve just updated Meteor Decks to work with Most Wanted. Itās enabled by default on all new and copied decks, and you can toggle it on/off from the Edit screen. Happy deckbuilding!
Impressively quick work Kiv, thanks.
Not too easily, was using Reddit markup export from NRDB. Painful, but it could be useful. I think Mods should also consider this thread for auto pinning.
Love the work. Two things that would be nice changes:
-
Cards that are on the MW list should show on your deck profile at the top just like influence is (this sometimes happens by accident but they arenāt locked there like inf costing cards are)
-
If you click āEditā on the deck, the tickbox that says āFeb 2015ā is not filled in despite the list being on, and ticking it and refreshing also resets it to being unticked
Thanks for all your work!
Thatās a very good question !
To whom should we ask it ? Lukas or Damon ?
Done and done.
I would say that probably it is on the opponent to inquire about influence value. With that being said, for official confirmation, Damon would be the one to ask.
Why have we not talked about draft?!? It is completely and utterly unchanged and broken!!
I donāt check current netrunner for a day and this happens? Wow, what a change to wake up to. I donāt really know what to think about this. On one hand, this destroys a lot of decks including some cute tier 2 ones that canāt afford to pay the influence for these cards. On the other hand, some of the cards on this list needed a nerf so they werenāt auto includes anymore.
I thought Iād go through my most current decks on NRBD and see how theyāre affected by these changes

Conclusions: Ouch! Pretty much everything Iāve got built is going to need major changes and some may not be viable with the influence they have. Hardest hit is Kate and the love of my life, Astrobiotics. Pretty sure PPVP Kate isnāt doable anymore and Iām going to make a bunch of changes to get Astrobotics working again.
My other favorite stealth kit, gets off lightly but only if youāre willing to remove clone chips/clot/lady which isnāt part of her core. In a world where Astrobiotics suddenly lost 11 influence, and Eli has +1 influence cost, maybe having clot and Lady wonāt be as critical.
Are FFG going to refund me the hours of my life I spent writing about that goddamn deck
i had a grim feast built on jinteki.net, and as i was, ādelete, delete, deleteā-ing through my decks i got to it and paused to cringe
rip in pepperoni desperado out of faction
Desperado outside of criminal is going to HURT now. You want 3 to make sure they appear in your opening hand and paying 4 influence a pop is painful on top of paying for things like clone chips and parasites.
You definitely always want to look out for new players.
I think a clause to reduce collateral damage, such as āA deck that contains only cards from the Core set and Deluxe Expansions is unaffected by the NAPD Most Wanted Listā would have been a great idea. That way players with the core set or the core set and the their favorite box donāt even have to worry about it, even if they want to try their hand at a store champ where it is hard to look the other way about the rule
At my store Iām pretty certain weāll probably be playing with the NAPD list for GNKs. We have enough people with extra cards to loan that we donāt really have newbies without access to the cards they want so it will be the same for everyone. And if we have someone show up unexpectedly with a deck built out of double core, order and chaos, and the most two recent data packs and itās 6 over NAPD rules thanks to parasites and yogs I think I speak for most in my group that weād let him or her play the deck no matter what art is on the playmat that month.
At store champs, it might be wise to bring some extra cards that are good swaps in case someone shows up and needs a last second replacement. Itās difficult to anticipate peopleās strategies, but you can bring a pile of Daily Casts, Dirty Laundries, Injects, Moddeds, Bank Jobs, explode-a-palooza/glenn station?/fetal ai/sports-hoppers so that people can cut influence on the spot
No, but see it as an opportunity to talk more about netrunner.
Current competitive Noise decks can easily be built using only Core/Deluxe cards plus Imp, if I remember correctly. Seem to remember someone bemoaning that they will never rotate because of this. Giving him the freedom to use a full suite of clone chips and parasites without the repercussions suffered by everyone else would be a tad over the top.
The list looks like a good idea to me and thereās very little I would change. The only difference it will make to the decks I play is winning a few more games. I also feel that with less clone chip, Shaper is back to the pre C&C faction I fell in love with.
I intended to switch both my current decks out for the store championship season. Ironically both use exactly zero of the cards on the MWL while all replacement options I considered use 6+ā¦ I guess Iāll stick to my old decks.
I think some of the card choices are odd. Targeting Kate was ok, but Lady+Clone Chip+PPVP was propably a bit too much. And it causes way too much collateral damage for various Tier 2 decks. Yog shouldnāt be on the list. 1-2 years ago he would have belonged, but not in the current meta. The same is true for Desperado and (propably) NAPD Contract.
Apart from the card choices Iām not sure wether to like or hate the genereal approach. As said there will be a lot of collateral damage. The variance of identities will likely not increase. If there will be more variance in decktypes remains to be seen.
Cache, Faust, Street Peddler, Adjusted Chronotype, Lamprey - all of those come from datapacks.
