its amazing to me how many more cards the Sahasrara Noise has now that are amazing as opposed to when this was first built
I am running something similar. The econ package difference is that I have no SG and no DC but rely on writer, scheherazade and symmetrical visage. I also am testing -1 Deja Vu +1 Trope.
Recently started playing noise in a serious attempt to learn to play him well. For someone so used to playing Andy for a long time, and subsequently a lot of ppvp Kate, Iām finding the amount of variance a little rough. Iāve been doing well enough, but am looking for a little feedback on where Iāve landed on this list.

I think youāll find the variance quite high with only a single D4v1d and Faust, and three of the (more situational) Lamprey. I might cut a Lamprey and a Grimoire, and put in another D4v1d and Faust. Corroder is rarely the card you want to see either; thatās probably the third Deja Vu slot. If you can find room for two Clot, you might want to do that.
Otherwise, itās about the standard fare for Noise decks. The deck is actually very consistent in that youāll always draw viruses which will pressure somewhere - itās just harder to control where youāll end up pressuring than other decks.
Iād start with faust, david, and mimic for your breakers. Get some games in and adapt if necessary.
2x faust, 2x david, 1x mimic.
Corroderās not really necessary. Faust/Parasite are for everything but Wraparound, and the decks that are playing Wraparound (NEH) have very few other ICE you need D4V1D for (Archangel and Tollbooth are the notable ones, but theyāre far better to Parasite than Wraparound is). 0 Corroder 2 D4V1D is the way, I think. Playing without Corroder might sound a little sketchy (if youāve not played this breaker suite before), but have a few games with it vs NEH, and if youāre playing right, it wonāt be a problem at all. NEH is the only matchup youād really ever want Corroder in.
Iād cut one IHW for one Deja Vu. Three Deja Vu can be incredible, whereas IHW isnāt a card you always want to play. I donāt hate cutting it down to one either, especially considering youāre on three Lamprey (a card I found especially good against Haarp). That could help find room for the second Faust. Iām a big fan of three Lamprey, and am surprised more Noise decks arenāt running three, the card is incredible and I rarely donāt want to see it.
As mentioned above, the essentials are 2 Faust, 2 D4V1D, one Mimic. You need those to function reliably.
The 1000 dollar question. Do you really need grimoire? How often do you play it? Do you get your money back?
Also inject is also nice to try out.
I think Turntable helps to shore up the NEH matchup. Itās hard to beat the feeling of handing the corp 15 mins to pinch their astro token. This is especially true because NBN are all playing CVS to score through clot.
Noise is enough for most of the decks who are playing the long game.
Can we make a Noise deck in todayās meta that includes Personal Workshop with the upcoming release of Councilman? Or is NoiseShop dead forever?
Why would noise be dead? What did I miss?
Noise isnāt dead. Noise with Personal Workshop is dead.
Soo, the new restricted card list rekts our beloved noise influence spread somewhat. So lets entertain some experiments on how to build noise now.
Lets focus on what was good about the cards that have made the MWL that worked well in the optimized noise list from last year.
- Clone chips gave us tutoring from the heap
- Clone chips also gave us clickless installs for surgical milling
- Clone chips meant we could use Faust without a care, anything we dumped into the heap we knew we would see again, same thing with street peddler - that program wasnt going to stay trashed for long.
- Parasites were noises main and sometimes only breaker, combined with the things we got from clone chip
Iām leaving that list there, its not even remotely complete, but i think any discussion that follows should flesh out the rest of the positives nicely. Identifying what we are losing by not including cards on the MWL will help us figure out where to take noise now.
Hereās my first attempt, in this iteration iv lost the clone chips AND aesops, putting in the old favourite of personal workshop. Its going to be considerably less impressive, but it does allow for clickless installs.
Trope can help somewhat with losing stuff to inject and street peddler.
It should be stressed, i dont think this list is going to cut it, its meant more as an experiment and to start a discussion on how we can adapt noise now we have a restricted list in place.

I feel like theres some super strong anti synergy going on with inject and PWā¦and peddler for that matter. No real draw, youāll never get enough use out of PW. PW Noise is best with wyldcakes, and probably as an incubator wombo combo deck. I have one built that Iāve been playing actually, and its kinda funny. Iād recommend, at the very least, changing inject to IHW. Realistically Iād cut WNP and Inject and go 3 wyldside 2 AC, and make another cut.
My gut reaction is that deck would remain more or less the same, minus clone chips (possibly only 2 gone). Possibly trying out some other stuff that was hard to put in before⦠Other decks are getting a hit too, so dropping some overall power is not going to be THAT big.
But what about clot? 2x with only 1 CC seems really bad
2 with 3 deja vus and 3 peddlers. Itās not like I used clone chips 90% for clot.
Yes, itās not as nice, but also keep in mind how much fast advance got hit as well. theyāre going to be down to shitty ice without elis and architects. I donāt expect that match up to go much worse.
FA didnāt get hit at all in the noise matchup, itās not like noise was breaking architects and eli all the time
you still run 3x SSCG 3x Astro
Yeah but good luck stopping my turn 4 medium digs without architects and elis
Or IMPing away your hand.
Noise is about pressure all around, and weaker ice means there will be increase in pressure everywhere.
True, but itās not like NBN suddenly runs 6 less ICE
Weāll find out at SCs then;)
