[Noise] Welcome (back) to the Church

It’s not like I tested it, so I might be wrong. You can always put in 3rd clot. It’s not like it’s going to be a terrible card (1 credit gain, 1 trash) once you’re set up…

Noise is still tops. Follow Kiv’s advice and drop to one clone and add a few dejas.

People were playing Noise without 3 Deja?

Yeah all true. I wasnt even trying with the draw, or the econ packages, this list was just “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks”.

If i experiment more with PW ill make sure i remember your points though as they are spot on.

Some? I guess add the third, if you were on 2? Maybe another Medium?

I think you should lose an influence, if your ID is noise, for each copy of Deja Vu you don’t run

Seriously, 3x Deja Vu is mandatory. I won plenty of games with my pre-NAPD Noise deck where I didn’t pop a Clone Chip or even bother installing them. By comparison I would use Deja almost every game, sometimes as soon as I drew it. It’s one of his best cards.

Post NAPD I feel like Noise is only going to be better. Sure he’s a 12 influence ID now (minimum, because Parasites), but I don’t mind dropping most of my chips. The gameplan is still the same and it’s still awesome.

this is what I am working with now.

Gorman has always been a fringe include for me. Works well with lamprey, could be pretty cool…at worst its a mill and 3 bucks. I can’t bring myself to go to the full 3 lamprey, but if its a style choice, go nuts. I’m personally more inclined to run a few incubators and get that surprise 3-4 card medium access, or if they ignore it, more…or just force purges more often. I’m quite similar in my list, which you can see on NRDB, plus some changes since I started testing.

despite popular belief, Noise has more “free” slots than most, as he can be good a bunch of different ways.

Yeah. I’d still rather have a CC and am happy to not have employee strike to do so. Get’s an extra parasite for the trouble too.

I think employee strike is too powerful not to use considering how much it helps noise set up and retain control.

makes the haarp match up better, because their ice blow, you can deep dig and actually have it matter. Win before you lose as it were.

Don’t you already have Imp? Hmm.

Imp is great in any matchup with Scorches, but Haarp in particular gets bodied by Employee Strike. Your typical Convenience Shop decks tend to have nothing but a Gutenberg or Data Raven on R&D and rely on being immune to R&D digs. Medium on a naked/weak R&D can ruin days.

3 Parasite,no Gorman,1 Clot,no Grimoire,1 Turntable,3 Street Peddler,Daily Casts for Tech Writer,no Corroder,cut 1 Mimic.That’s what I’ve been playing.But I’m not a decent Noise player I have to admit that.

Just chiming in to say that in a post-architect world, anything less than 3 Lamprey is just wrong.

Here’s my list. Doing well so far.

Lamprey is love, Lamprey is life. It’s the most rude way to force a purge in all of Netrunner. When Diwan drops I may go 2 and 2 for a bit, but I’ll probably find a way to stuff the third Lamprey back in.

No-one trying to murder you post-MWL?
