Just to clarify, the paid ability window is actually after the Snitch trigger (Window at 2.1, “when approached” triggers at 2). This means that the runner also cannot use paid abilities (like using bad pub on personal workshop) if you Snitch out of the first ice.
Also correct.
Snitch trigger at 2, before paid ability windows.

I don’t think so, if a card specifies that cards can be hosted on it by taking a certain action you can’t host them any other way.
Page 2, Column 2, Paragraph(s) 7, FAQ
“Hosted” is always self-referential and
refers to cards and tokens hosted on that card, unless otherwise noted.
Cards are always hosted faceup, unless otherwise noted.
The main point here is that last sentence. I don’t think you can host onto Worlds Plaza without using its ability, but even if you could, the card would be faceup.
(I remember a ruling stating that if a card says how you host things on it, then that’s the only way you can. Otherwise, you can host onto it when performing a normal Install action. So Glenn Station/Film Critic can only get cards hosted by how they say they can, but Djinn can host any non-icebreakers via the normal install action.)
Yeah but as I said in my previous post, that was before the last FAQ.
Right now the reason why the corp can not install an agenda on Glenn Station is because the FAQ says otherwise.
Regardless, due to the quote I posted earlier, the answer to your question will be either 1) You can install Snare faceup on Worlds Plaza without using its ability, or 2) You cannot install Snare onto Worlds Plaza without using its ability.
Since to be hosted, it must be faceup, it might as well be installed using its ability? I guess there’s a play with Shipment from Mirrormorph that could let you install three assets onto Worlds Plaza if you can install without using its ability?
No, the reason is because Glenn Station isn’t installed and doesn’t let you install anything on it. It lets another card BE HOSTED on it.
About Worlds Plaza: because the card gives a restriction to hosting/installing, that is the only way anything can be installed hosted on it. You can’t Shipment From Mirrormorph anything on WP because the restriction doesn’t allow you to do that.
@stimhacked @ANR_RulesWiki If a card tells you how to host on it, then that is a hosting restriction and you cannot host on it another way.

Hypothetically, IF Worlds Plaza didn’t have any restriction for installing on it, then you could, provided that you rezzed those assets by paying their rez costs.
While we’re talking about Shipment from Mirrormorph…
Say I’m playing the Foundry (The first time you rez a piece of ice each turn, you may search R&D for another copy of that ice, reveal it, and add it to HQ. Shuffle R&D) and I Shipment (Immediately install up to 3 cards, spending no clicks but paying all install costs) a piece of ice into a server which has a rezzed Amazon Industrial Zone (Whenever you install a piece of ice protecting this server, you may immediately rez it, lowering its rez cost by 3).
I’m assuming that I can install and rez the first ice with a discount, then search for another copy of that ice, and install and rez that as the second Mirrormorph install?
Asking for a friend, honestly.
I’m nigh 99% sure that you’re correct. Card are installed one at a time; cascading triggers means Amazon, then Foundry will trigger off of the first install. Therefore, when you make your second install, you may absolutely install the ice newly in your hand, followed by a third install, if you so desire.
The only thing that gives me slight pause is the word “immediately.” I’m very inclined to chalk it up to just a simple meaningless word owing to the overcautious approach to card text that was fairly rampant in the core set, and I would be extremely disappointed to learn that the installs are simultaneous.
From what I remember, the wording of Mirrormorph has caused all kinds of issues down the years! I think it’s confirmed the installs happen sequentially allowing you (for instance) to use an EtF credit to install a second+ piece of ice in a server. I guess I had a vague worry that all of the ‘targets’ for the card had to be in HQ at the start of the action?
I mean, if that were the case, Scavenge could never renew the very program it trashed.
This is 100% correct. I’ll just add the 1% for posterity. The installs are one at a time and cascading triggers (foundry ability) can get you a new ice to play in the middle of it.
Where does that come from ??
If that was the case, then installing an agenda on GS would never have been possible.
But in the begining, it was…
I think your quote only applies to host abilities (such as the one on Glenn Station, Personnal Workshop etc.).
The thing is that every corp card is installed face down and then rezzed. (But the two are not always possible at the same time.)
Maybe we could deduce that : since hosted cards need to be face-up and corp cards are always installed face-down, the corp can not host a card unless an ability allows him to do so.
But if that was really it, why would we need the ruling about “hosting restriction” in the first place ?
Once again, I think that the more simple way to rule this is to apply the “hosting restriction” ruling. But why shall I follow something said on twitter when the latest FAQ update choose to not include it ? Never mind the fact that some of its consequences were kept but only on case by case.
Cascade triggers were neglected from the official FAQ for over a year, yet we played with them because we knew it was intended.
I wouldn’t qualify bad transcript as neglecting…
But, anyway, if you say that it was not in the FAQ intent to put aside this ruling, that’s fine by me. No install from Architect to WP.
I just hope it will be fixed in the next FAQ.
I play Immolation Script and successfully run Archives.
-
If I used Eater during the run, can I trash a piece of ice?
-
If I got hit by Hudson 1.0, can I trash a piece of ice, then access and steal an agenda?
What do you mean “bad transcript”? Cascading triggers was a known ruling, but it didn’t get added officially fo the FAQ for a year.
-
I’d think not. Immolation Script seems to imply that you’d actually have to be able to access a piece of ice in archives in order to fire it. Since Eater doesn’t allow you to access any individual cards (since you are accessing 0 cards), it won’t trigger.
-
I’m assuming you mean off of something like an RDI run? If so, I don’t think so. Ice is accessed in R&D just like any other card. Once you’ve accessed it (and trashed it), you cannot access any other cards. If you meant something else, you might need to elaborate a bit more.
Nah, there’s an agenda in the Archives, and a piece of ice. I want to immolate that ice first, then I’d tell Hudson “man, i didn’t access no cards during this run!” (I only did this thing INSTEAD of accessing) and he’d like “uh, ok, i guess, access one then”, and I’d steal that agenda from archives.
