What was the reason for such ruling?
Why were there judge calls in all his games?
the posted image seems just as effective to meâŚ
is it like triple biotic with neural emp and reclamation orders or ronin?
13 players in the Regionals, which was a disappointment. We had anticipated around 30, but got a -lot- of last-minute cancellations and some just plain no-shows among the regular players.
Chronos Protocol was 18 iirc, but itâs been a while and I donât have the tournament record saved. Was an even number, less than 20 and more than we had at the Regionals.
My mistake on saying Nationals instead of regionals. My only excuse is that I was tired and about to head off to work when I wrote the first post. Posts edited.
Pretty much. If given insane amounts of cash itâs possible to triple-biotic into five neural emp.
If the runner sits back and never runs due to fearing combo, engage the Ronin backup plan.
Christian tends to make decks like that. His last iteration before this one was HB EtF with Jinteki traps aplenty. Say what you will about Norwayâs meta, but we have some off-the-wall decks in addition to the more standard meta mainstays.
Actually, given sufficiently insane amounts of cash, itâs possible to do six net damage with a monstrous combination of Biotic Labors, Reclamation Orders and Neural EMPs. That, however, is probably the least exciting combo the deck can pull off!
(Christian here by the way, hello Stimhack!)
If you hit 52 credits, the runner doesnât deserve to see your exciting combos.
Although thereâs some truth to that, itâs more like âwhenâ I hit 52 credits, not âifâ. Even if all my econ cards go into rezzing ice, 52 creds is âjustâ 13 turns of three clicks for creds and Subliminal Messaging - and of course, replaying Restructures to high heavens accelerates the process considerably.
That said, the games where I get money fastest are games when the Runner refuses to do anything - although yeah, those games tend to end trivially by double Ronin. The opponents face when he realizes that heâs dead no matter what is always good fun!
Iâve also changed the NAPD for a single Efficiency Committee lately - scoring it allows me to extend combos and/or do combos much more cheaply, as well as removing one of just seven agendas from the game.
Edit: Although Iâm not implying that I need the 52 cred combo to win the game. Itâs just one of the most fail-safe methods.

On Wednesday I won a small local âHeat in New Angelesâ tournament in WrocĹaw, Poland (8 players, 3 rounds Swiss, went 3-0 as runner and 2-1 as corp). There was a good chance that Iâd post these decklists as double tournament winner lists, it was close, but finally my gf who piloted them yesterday in Katowice at a bigger tournament (winnerâs lists a few posts higher) ended up 2nd (she went 3-1 as runner and 2-2 as corp in Swiss, then in top 4 won twice as corp but lost twice as runner).

Congrats Medio! That corp deck⌠so brutalâŚ
How do you deal with decks like your own Andy deck in that RP list?
Edited to add: Oh yeah, congrats! First place of 82 is amazing.
Well, I was 3-0 against Andy on the day, and though one of those games was snatched from the jaws of defeat, the other two were both pretty clear-cut. Itâs hard to really say how you âdealâ with Andy, because you pretty much are on the default game plan vs criminals. There are a few important factors, but some are out of your control. Their best cards against you are their econ engines, (an early Security Testing + Kati + Desperado can be pretty hard to overcome), but they donât always draw all of that, in which case you can tax their economy. Faerie and Parasite, especially in combination, are very strong as well. Your best method of dealing with these is to get them to use them on your terms. Rez a Komainu and make them use their Faerie and go get a real sentry breaker. Parasite on a central Komainu/Tsurugi can be a big pain in the ass. Try to get them to use these on your cheaper ICE like pup, or, even better, a Quandary protecting a Sundew. You have to pressure them to run and get in and spend money with your asset econ, while building the board before they can take the time to get great use out of their economy engines themselves.
Yeah, it seems like Criminal econ + Parasite recursion is difficult to deal with if they can get going. @spags has crushed my RP with Gabe and Andy on OCTGN. But youâre a much better player than I am.
I donât know that theres a deck that puts up great numbers agsinst parasite criminal, but RP competes with the best of them. HQ caprice really helps to stop them from landing Siphon. I dont think I was successfully siphoned the whole day in 4 games vs Parasite criminal, which was definitely a major factor.
The more I look at that corp list the better it gets. It really has answers for all runners. I was thinking like a whizzard parasite deck might be the toughest matchup, but not sure heâll have the econ to deal with multiple tsrugi and especially tollbooth. Iâm guessing a really well polished shaper âsniperâ deck with a lot of central multi-access cards might be best against it. What do you think is itâs toughest matchup?
Still not convinced by 3 NAPD over 2 NAPD 1 Fetal. Donât think I ever will be. But itâs a great list, Iâve enjoyed watching it on your stream. Congratulations.
