Testing new format

Hello all,

I am looking for some assistance developing a new format which I am working on, for a local meet up.

The idea is that players will all bring the same standard corp/runner deck which is mostly full of neutral cards, they can then swap in 10 inf worth of cards from any faction and any ID.

I have created the decks which I list below. I am keen to find out if they are balanced. I wanted to create decks that are weak, but give a base where the 10 inf splash provides interesting game play and deck building options.

Further rules for deck building:
Neutral cards cost an additional 1 inf,
Agendas cost 2 inf,
All MWL listed cards have 1 inf penalty,
The following IDs cost 2 inf:
Corp: ETF, Palana. Runner: Andromeda, Iain, Kate, Kit.

The decks:
Corp:
Agenda (10)

Why does that set of IDs cost 2 influence?

This seems to be a gathering of free clicks + low inf ID.
NEH is missing, then.

I considered NEH but this ID normally has 17 inf and therefore is nerfed by not getting the +2 inf.
The 2 inf penalty for the IDs is to stop players gravitating to the obvious choice for this type of basic deck.

What are we on now, format 6?

I heard NEH should be 12 inf, that there was a misread and it was made 17.

To me the base decks seem like corp has shitty agendas but otherwise ok cards, runner has shitty breakers but otherwise ok stuff. Those are the things Iā€™d spend most of my inf on, anyway.

This is a good idea, and should be used as a springboard going forward. It just takes one good idea to make a variant that sticks. I like the idea, the decks look good on first look.
