Proposed scoring system:
1 for top 32
2 for top 16
4 for top 8
6 for 4th
8 for 3rd
11 for 2nd
15 for 1st
(Non cumulative)

+1 pt for highest ranked player of a given id (min top 50).
+3 pts for #1 after Swiss
+1 pt for highest weyland player

Not sure how many people on a team. Also, not sure if whether you want to draft or assign a set of restrictions. (No more than 1 national or us regional winner on a team seems like a possible one).

US regional winners donā€™t get a bye!

You could also just hit a series of upsets in your bracket that just tanks your sheet . . . . Pacer/Ahmed/Ross what the fuck happened?

Fine two separate restrictions and one extra scoring rule.
No more than 1 us regional winner on your team.
No more than 1 national winner on your team.

+1 pt for knocking out dan in elims

It might be easier and a lot more fun to just to this draft for the KOS15 event, since itā€™s capped at a reasonable amount and we already have a readied list of its players. Then things like top Weyland player stand to be more exciting to bet on

Thatā€™s a good idea.

That takes some assumption.

Iā€™ve to do a better job this year than my fellow belgian last year.
So much pressure :frowning:

Just make sure you have 4 credits before you access NAPD and youā€™ll be fine!

With the most recent floor rules I think FFG axed the ability to gamble on major tournaments (by my reading) so I donā€™t mind moving this to the KOS15 event (is that the team tournament, Iā€™m not up to date?) if people prefer that and if thatā€™s better. It seems easier since we already have a list as well. If we want to draft players there are a couple ways we can do it over google docs:

1: synchronous, if we can figure out a mutually agreeable time.
2: asynchronous over a long period of time
3: semi-synchronous: those who can make it at a certain time draft and those who canā€™t write a list of their picks in order that can be operated by the moderator.
4: we can just pick players if we think thereā€™s a large enough pool that choices arenā€™t obvious, but that isnā€™t as fun since choices tend to be more homogenised. this could be okay for team tournaments though since thereā€™s a wider skill range.

Anyway this sounds very exciting! Looking forward to it!!! (in the absence of going to worlds)
