i think the answer to supplier andy is realizing as soon as you see supplier you need to rush. the longer the money the faster you need to go.
Probably. Iād never seen that deck in action, so I pitched a bunch of NAPDs and stalled out at 5 points.
how do people feel about match ups against Stealth Hayley? This is sort of a code gate heavy deck and she has too many stealth credits for decoders. Iām not sure if I should rush agendas and blank Hive when she is poor early games or play normal slow game to race with the Lady tokens.
Also she has switch blade and 3RDI. I really donāt have much confidence on my R&D going late game. Crisium does nothing and Taurus wonāt really get the hardware.
Often, against stealth, the answer is to overtax their fracter. Put Lady to work, put a barrier on every server, and go hard with them on your scoring remote. Usually, stealth has too many cards invested into those recurring credits to have much of a regular economy, so ASH can be very painful for them. You can also try to catch her with both dogs in the trash and throw down a blacklist. I find that against your tougher match-ups, you have to let go of your heuristics and just play good Netrunner, find windows, bait runs, and present them with hard choices (score an agenda, trash Adonis, or break an OAI Curtain?).
Thanks for the write up which gave me the inspiration for my current vegan grail bootcamp glacial
Swapped the influences / ice for grails + 1 corporate troubleshooter and CVS which works great so far.
But the only really problematic match-up Iāve encountered is against headlock reina: with Xanadu, eater, Crescentus, cutleries, kati, vamps, lamprey and clone chips for recursion. a bad hand or misstep which places your credit level below theirs means that itās really difficult to climb out of the low income range (<4 creds) while the extra cost really dampens your ID and makes every Rez/bounce feels like chimera.
How would you play around it with your bootcamp glacial? Just stall? Bait runs with NAPD? Overprotect HQ?
Baiting runs with NAPD doesnāt do anything because a lot of the time reina is happy for you to take the tempo hit of scoring, as it makes putting the headlock on a lot easier.
Instead make HQ moderately taxing (donāt go all-in on it; you need to gear check 3+ times on your remote and R&D needs to be taxing late game), put crisium grids there, interns them back, and try to preemptively bootcamp the ice on your remote so she canāt vamp you and get in for free. Another obscure trick is to leave your hives rezzed after they get empty as a source of creds she canāt vamp away.
Isnāt that just an easy crescentus target?
Sheād rather use them on tollbooth (the most expensive ice youāre willing to rez). I figure the cheapest thing sheās gonna crescentus is your datapikes, hive isnāt much different, and itās already a game of making her run out of clone chips because she needs to clone knights to get into your remote late game.
How did Chronos v. Blacklist work in your testing, @bblum?
not @bblum, so take my response with an appropriate grain of salt, but neither is really sufficient tech on its own, Blacklist is better for buying you one scoring window fairly reliably, while chronos is usually a death knell or a whiff, making 2 chronos and a blacklist a fairly competent suite if thatās where you want to invest your flex slots. Playing only one, I would probably take a Blacklistāyou can pull it with EBC rather than having to blow an Atlas counter, and even if you donāt win that turn, turning up the pressure to start dragging the runner through your ICE will probably help seal the deal later.
Just finished my local regionals. Took my latest version of BS glacier and Calimsha Kate. Finished 1st after swiss, and 3rd overall. While Blue Sun let me down in elims, it did shockingly well against shaper in swiss, largely due to Blacklist. I managed to lock out the three Kates I faced. It was opportunistic as opposed to the main plan, sure, but those games were flat out won by that card.
Still super happy with the 1x PriReq 1x Hostile Takeover agenda suite. Both more flexible and resilient. Also Oaktown is good.
This is what I ran:
A Black Sun - BC, Canada Regionals. 1st in swiss. 3rd place.

Cards up to Chrome City
Decklist published on NetrunnerDB.
ALSO: remember to rez your Blacklists. Especially after Executive Bootcamping them. Doubly so when youāre on stream. >.>
I removed Lotus entirely and put an Ichi + wormhole instead. Havenāt tested much but I think should be fine especially in a yog+NRE happy environnement.
I really like that. I used to do that in my old Scorch versions. Ichi does work.
Also it should be noted that Chrome city isnt tournament legal right now in Belgium. Iām using a 2 Chronos / 3 napd / 3 Atlas / 2 prireq agenda suite but I would probably swap to yours with Chronos instead of hostile when the pack is available
@aandries just took down Madison, WI with Leela/BS Bootcamp. Keystone: he dropped Blacklist for ITD. Game breaker. He audibly was laughing while purporting how he was bringing renovations to #Oaktown.
FWIW, he noted Wormhole sucked, and 3 Matis are needed.
Nice idea. I forgot everytime that ITD cost 1 to splash.
Thatās⦠a really good idea. Iāve mostly pushed ITD out of mind for taking too long for tournaments. It WAS fun that one game I managed to advance oaktown 10+ timesā¦
Just won a regional today with a bootcamp deck. It only lost once during the playoff against Valencia and mostly because my two bootcamps were buried in my deck.
Scored like 8 Chronos project against Kate and Maxx. Feel good
