Mumbad Cycle

Possibly changed in play-testing.

Sad, I would have enjoyed putting out 3 archers for free…

Mark my words, after this next pack, there is going to be a durdly Leela deck that just takes money, runs HQ once to get PolyOp installed, and sit on its ass until the Corp tries to score, and use Corp Scandel and Balckmail to get in while using Councilman to stop them from fast advancing.
And it’s going to be nasty.

While the corp FA for the win??

And then every corp packs 1-2 currents and things become fine again.

Councilman, bruh.

Biotic?

Have you heard of Biotic Labor? or Astroscript Pilot Program?

They’re pretty neat

Will every deck be fast advance after the Op drops?

Maybe it won’t be that good or Corps will use Snatch and Grab or something to secure remotes.

That’s how it seems to me, with maybe a dash of Midseason kill still floating around. There’s not a corp trick involving actually building a remote that Pol Op doesn’t wreck, and it takes a few other tricks out on the way: Ronin, Crisium Grid, using SanSan more than once.

The only thing left is traps, and we all know they have problems of their own.

There are three Jinteki cards, one NBN card, and two Weyland cards still unknown in Democracy and Dogma.

Maybe of them is Political Purge, rez cost 3, trash : trash connection. Or similar.

I for one hope we go back to Old skool netrunner where we play the NA (or advance traps) game and utilizing corresponding scoring windows rather than being reliant on defensive upgrades.

Aggressive secretary, junebug and snare! are good cards people - stop looking so hard!

Agreed. Never advance is such a fun way to play Netrunner. The only problem is when you start slotting public agendas and realize you can’t install them naked…

Yeah, those cards are pretty neat. Let’s include a copy of the Source to prevent them from using those cards.

Some new deck ideas

Kit with Brahman. The uninstall trigger can let you move cyber cypher around and reset the counters on Lady and D4v1d. (Plus AIs are good in kit to begin with). In rare cases it could even help cloak and dagger letting you use cloaks credit on your first click and again on your fourth click.

Ankusa with Unscheduled Maintenance to prevent the corp from reinstalling all their ice. You can turn things into barriers with tinkering and paintbrush, then trash them from HQ if you like using test run with imp.

Gagarin asset spam rush with Franchise city, using new cards like new construction, bailiff, and Mumbad virtual tour

Shaper Faust with Patron, Datasucker and John Masanori. I guess it will be a combined Faust / Atman deck, not sure if we lose efficiency by caring about cards and credits simultaneously.

I like this a lot. You can include Earthrise Hotel for maximum draw, but even better you can abuse the hell out of Bank Job!

It uninstalls programs only, sadly.

Maybe in a Hayley Rara/Scheherazade deck?

edit: So maybe we can do a deck that relies on Brahman/D4V1D for all it’s breaking needs. Could add NRE or Personal Touch to save the 2 cred for str 4 ice, or just pay for it. Needs answers for Swordsman, Turing on centrals and maybe Wraparound (D4V1D can handle Turing on remote and Wraparound in a pinch).

Econ is Cache and random programs getting installed on Scheherazade by Hayley and back in hand by Brahman, add Aesop’s to taste.

All hands prepare to reverse the jank engine!

With Brahman, the card goes to the top of your deck, which to me screams Oracle May.

Brahman costs you two clicks per ice you break even if you uninstall 0 cost programs (one to draw one to install). May and Scheherezade can mitigate by giving you three credits for these clicks but it’s still not something you want to rely on long term (it is better than Crypsis, though with a really deep server you’d need lots of programs installed in advance and you could only use May on one of them per turn when reinstalling). On the other hand when using to reset a d4v1d or a Lady the click cost is the same as drawing and playing Scavenge but the credit cost is 3 or 4 higher (unless you have May). So it’s still not awesome, but there are two benefits: you can scavenge whenever you need to instead of only when you draw scavenge, and you can break an ice that you didn’t have any way (or any cheap way) to break.

You can also use it even if you don’t have any other programs installed right?
