No doubt. Plenty of time to kill brain cells with substances between now and then, which will mitigate any worries. Worse case scenario, there’s always trepanning.

May I Braincage first?
FWIW, I think the Mumbad Cycle looks fantastic. I love this game, and would birth Lukas’ baby, if he’d let me.
Dear lord, Virtual Tour is just so lovely. Make them spend that Imp token, or use aaall their Ghost Runner credits.
if the improved protein source is not retired clones im going to be disappointed lol.
It looks like giant grubs. So maybe a little less sinister then people think.
Right. It’s more ‘Snowpiercer’ and less ‘Soylent Green’.

It’s still going to be called Soylent Red.
They might be cloned grubs. Just a liiiiitle extra evil.
Ramujan-Reliant is packed with flavor from what I can see. The kids are wearing the same rig as the guy on Inside Job and I think Dinosaurus is on the cereal box!
Man if Nate French were to move to Netrunner that would be so amazing.
Netrunner will be Damon Stone and Erik Dahlman tho.
It’s probably the best tasting cereal on the market and packed with protein!
I’m guessing but, not so amazing then?
They made Bio Meat.
What do you mean? Damon has already been working on Netrunner. I’m sure the new team will do a bang up job
I apologize, I misunderstood your post.
This is a bit off topic to talk about game designers and needs probably a new topic.
I like Damon Stone when it comes about designing flavorful cards but someone needs to keep him in check. I heard a lot of bad reputation of Damon from Game of Thrones players but don’t know about that so much. That game ended up being a total mess though. Worst example of Damon roaming free is seen in newish Call of Cthulu: Key and Gate deluxe expansion. That expansion was very thematic but with quite messy interactions and 6 cards ended up being restricted (bit similar as banned). Best example in Netrunner is Caissa which I believe was Damon design. I like the flavor of them but ruleswise and powerwise they are a bit miss.
I think being too vanilla and not taking risks is maybe biggest criticism Lukas gets. I think this is one his strengths and has allowed Netrunner being quite balanced and staple. FFG doesn’t have a big design/play testing team so potentially strong flashy cards is a big risk. There are also some weird rulings from Lukas but I found them too bad. It is more the fault of FFG of not thinking about having a specialized rules team. Balanced game design from Lukas is one of the main things why Netrunner is so popular (although biggest thanks goes to Garfield whose work just needed some polishing).
Mumbad looks to really shake things up, and FFG seems to be actively reaching out to community members to help keep cards in check from both power level and rules structure perspectives. I’m hoping those same systems stay in place to help Damon and Erik transition smoothly. I am cautiously optimistic myself, but mostly because change is scary.
Actually, I was thinking about this the other day, and think that Caissa would be totally fine with just one more card for support. They need an event that would let you rearrange your caissa on the board. There’s even a self-evident name for this event… you could call it Castling
Nate only worked on LOTR during the cores and first cycle. Cycles 2 and 3 were Lukas (with a bit of celeb towards the end of cycle 3) Everything since then has been Caleb and Matt.
