I’ve been planning to buy a 4000 card storage box for the active cards + 800 card boxes whenever cards rotate out. Assuming FFG stops printing big boxes after the NBN one (and that I calculated things right), the maximum number of unique legal cards Netrunner will have is 1173. A playset of each of those is 3519 cards in total. Every time cards rotate, two cycles of datapacks leave the cardpool. This is 240 unique cards, 720 total cards for a playset of each.
I would actually work on the assumption that they won’t stop printing big boxes, as the current LCGs continue to receive them well past initial faction-fleshing-out. Call of Cthulhu is in, what, its 6th year? 7th? And it’s still getting deluxe expansions. We might not see them at the end of every single cycle, though.
I think right now we just don’t know. Thrones stopped printing big boxes once they had covered all six factions, so there’s precedent in both directions.
Yeah, but they haven’t actually released a deluxe expansion for every faction in that game yet. I think there are still 3 more factions to go?
As I promised. Each card gets grouped by penny sleeves. Then sorting is easily done in standard card boxes.
I ended up watching the Seahawks/Packers game yesterday and was able to put all of my cards into binders while doing so.
Watching some football while doing so helped pass the time. It took awhile, but it was well worth it.
I prefer my stuff in binders, and the 3000 card box I had them in was just too much for me. I have 2 binders, both split by faction, then sorted by types. Really glad I did.
I scrolled upon these new releases from one of my favorite supply sites, for those who are fans of the Ultra Pro deck storage you might enjoy these new models! Apparently this brand is fairly popular in Europe, anyone have any insight on their products? Seems like the price is pretty decent for what they’re offereing:
wow, that “Ultimate Guard Black Twin Flip ‘n’ Tray Deck Case 160+” looks really nice! $30 plus $8.50 flat rate shipping seems like so much to pay for a case, though… especially when compared to the $11.50 Ultra Pro tower deck boxes you get with Amazon prime shipping.
This is how i now store my cards. Thanks, great advice!
