How was the Ashigaru? Did you put it to good use, or would you rather have had some other piece of ICE?

It was good the one time I saw it. Most games were just ELP and scoring out behind an enigma or eli so it didn’t come up.

What the heck is happening up in Seattle with these bonkers decks? Is everyone running jank? No NEH?

I really regret not making it to these last two tournaments.

People are, but the big corp in the room currently is Blue Sun.

NEH is great versus that CT deck, but it’s not as unstoppable as it used to be. IHW really made NEARPAD less good versus Anarch in general, there’s some prevoke-to purge Noise. Also, a ton more mediums/Keyholes are getting played than before O&C, and those two are competing for the spot of “Most punishing to ICE light decks”.

Also, there’s the chance Au Revoir Theory getting of the ground just a bit fast enough to make shit happen.

Kiv you should play the 2nd tollbooth over the 3rd ash. IMO the 3rd ash is too “passive”; it’s too important to find TB early in basically every matchup for rushing purposes.

Otherwise great to see another bootcamp glacier win

Every matchup except Valencia, it must be noted.

I can see the third Ash just for the Valencia MU in the right meta, but yeah, she won’t be the whole field and Tollbooth is so, so good in BS.

I played at 2 Store Championships in Belgium this weekend with the exact same decks. Finished 2nd on Saturday (Kortrijk) and first on Sunday (Hasselt).

Didn’t know what to play on the Corp side so I just took an unoriginal plain vanilla NEH. The star of the weekend was Quetzal though.

  1. NEH - Quetzal
  2. HB ETF - Valencia (featuring Hivemind, Surge and Incubator !)
  3. Blue Sun - Whizzard
  4. Blue Sun - MaXx

Props to Lukas for bringing such a balanced and diversified meta !
