Cloak also works on non-stealth breakers, yo
Eli is 4 to break with Corroder and you can only have 2 Cloaks with a full rig. Once Security Testing doesn’t net money anymore (Eli, NEXT bronze/silver, Grail, many others) what can the deck do but click for credits?
@Korrigan
If I had 2 more influence, there would be 2. I used to play stealth Andy with a single set of breakers and figured that one of the most common reasons for my losses, was that I could not find them fast enough. Besides, R&D multiaccess is only very helpful in close NEH games or if a Weyland glacier is starting to get out of control.
Once ST doesn’t net credits, u have to click for them, but hey, all 3 centrals and every server they build needs to tax you heavily and all that ice costs money that they can’t really get from assets, You can use siphons or shutdowns to make them poorer so they leave your ST money in peace
@bahram
Played a nightmare game vs Noise that I miraculously won in the last store championship. Was really tough, then again both he (but me too especially early on) had some really good draws. That being said, I think NEXT ice is pretty good vs ice destruction: particularly if it’s cutlery based. Basically, they are cheap and end the run and the runner still has to deal with them. Spooning a Wormhole is not much harder than spooning a Next Bronze. Parasites are tougher, but NEXT are not that terrible on their own (essentially a wall of static that’s 1 chepaer to break and a quandary that’s 1 more expensive). You can add 2 Lotus fields if you fear ice destruction: I opted against it, because i didn’t want to be overly vulnerable to Atman 4.
Ive been running Fire Wall Eli WoStatic, IQ and Viper, and Architect as my main ice core, with a few open slots I rotate between things on feel for that day.
Taxing out of the gate, and gives me some safety vs Cutlery since I have cheap stuff to protect the good stuff and I only need 1 or 2 pieces on a server to both ETR and actually tax doing it.
But if you just like playing a little faster and not caring that vs ice destruction that your ice might become almost non-taxing thats cool too.
Just seems 2spooky4me.

Hades Shard? Isn’t Utopia almost always the better choice (if youre going to have one or the other) in everything that doesn’t randomly trash corp cards?
I mean sure maybe you can surprise someone with it once in a while…?

Gabe went 4-1, RP 4-2. Won in the first game of the finals against my fiancee. Good that I didn’t have to play against her Making News, as it went undefeated that day.
It straight up won me 2 games. A lot of people still don’t respect it and dump many points in the Archives. Having a straight install and pop won me a game against a 6 agenda Blue Sun which would’ve otherwise been a losing scenario.
During swiss or elims? I feel like good players wouldn’t risk getting caught with their pants down, so it doesn’t help in the matches you need it most.
Honestly that can be even better. If they know you’ve got Hades in your deck they’ll suboptimally use Jackson (probably not being able to cycle all agendas for example) etc etc etc - even when you don’t have Hades in your hand. You don’t just need to get agendas from Jackson for the Hades splash to be worth the influence.
Either you get their agendas or they suboptimally use Jackson. Either is good in any part of a tournament.
Other than that, Hades has good synergy with Keyhole, and Keyhole is in that deck.
can vouch for this. no one expects Hades Shard out of Andromeda, and i’ve won a few games thanks to this (included one in my deck above).
not so great trick: declare Security Testing on archives, run Archives, they don’t use Jackson since you’re not going to access, install and set off Hades Shard for free – yup, timing / replacement effects works on this
Oh that is devious. I love it.
The maxx deck does have keyhole, but the andy deck (I should have mentioned which one I’m talking about) doesn’t have it. If you have keyhole it totally makes sense. Without random trashing? Maybe, maybe not.

Are you sure that you are allowed to install the shard despite the security testing? Would appreciate a link to the relevant ruling.
