Post MWL NBN FA

Nope, I want Data Raven to be a taxing piece. However if the runner ignores it, there are Closed Accounts and Shoot the Moon to punish this decision. Also both of those cards can be used on IAA Breaking News play, so aren’t dead in any case.

Probably you are right about Curtain Wall. Outside of Shoot the Moon combo I wouldn’t probably ever rez it. I will test Shoot the Moon though for sure, even rezzing Tollbooth and Eli after BN IAA seems really good.

I’m going 1 Clot in MaxX, which allows for a dropped Legwork. This allows me to run 3 Clones, and a Scavenge.

Better get some Wontons in there for some HQ pressure!

I wonder if reg-ass maxx is now so famous that the mere possibility of legwork is enough to make the corp protect HQ?

Fuccck that. The scavenge is much worse than the Legwork.

Still need 2 Legwork in a post-Clot environ? Hold on to that security blanket.

Reg-ass always run only one, no?

Giving a Few Fucks

MaxX: Maximum Punk Rock (Order and Chaos)

Event (14)

Hardware (4)

Resource (10)

Icebreaker (6)

Program (11)

15 influence spent (max 15)
45 cards (min 45)
Cards up to Order and Chaos

Deck built on NetrunnerDB.

That was the last build I played to 2nd at a SC. Was thinking of -1 Leg, -1 something, +1 Clot, +1 Clone Chip.

Yeah, I suck, but we can’t all be clones of each other.

There’s always just going over 45, I guess.

I wouldn’t, people from Philly get angry easy

Oh, well that’s your problem: there’s only 2 Clone Chip. Play 3 ya dingus.

I like Scavenge. Perfect reuse of Imps.

However, this isn’t a MaxX thread. I’m done. Sorry.

There’s nothing like having @mediohxcore looking over your shoulder and live-scolding you while you’re trying to play. Or laughing at you and/or the cards you chose to put in your deck.

Actually it’s been great and has made me a much better player. But stressful

Red Herrings has got to be pretty hard to play right now with Imp being so prominent. It’s also pretty different on RnD. Throwing that late game Ash on RnD after you score an Astro is a big deal.

Red Herrings isn’t nearly as good as Ash. But if you’re scrabbling around for influence I don’t think it’s completely worthless to consider as an alternative. How is it worse on R&D than anywhere else? I was just pointing out that NBN do have access to an Ash lite.

Imp hurts, but not that much, and if they’re imping your agendas, they aren’t imping something else important.

I think the worst part about Red Herrings is the 1 trash cost. It can be powerful, but it also makes your RD much more porous. I think the only 1-trash cost card I want to play is Caprice.

To those who feel Clot has ended your Corp life

Learn to play a remote game.

Reminds me of @aandries at Gencon 2013. Out of Weyland, his mulligan went from bad to worse. So, he IAA’s first turn. Opponent was nonplussed, so Aaron just dropped his shades, and silently awaited his opponent’s decision.

After a few minutes of consternation, he faceplanted the Cerebral Overwriter. #remotegames

Yeah, I don’t really have a problem with that sentiment. Fast advance is annoying, I get that. What annoys me is that NBN doesnt really have the tools to play a remote game all that well. So by printing one card it’s like we’re going back down to 3 Corp factions again (or 2 if you’re like me and think Weyland is pretty much unplayable) like in the times before H&P when Jinteki was a joke. Having unplayable or, at the very least, inferior factions is bad for the game. Hopefully the NBN big box does something to fix the issue, but that’s still a ways off.
