I’m pretty disappointed that the core set will still be legal. Datasucker was and still is a big problem. It’s really OP and gets run SO MUCH. I’m glad that a lot of other stuff is going to cycle out though. Goodbye to Jackson Howard and Andy. Good riddance, imho.
I’m starting to become interested in seeing how Corps are going to deal with the loss of Jackson Howard. I’m only aware of 2 decks now after a lot of reading this am that manage to work without him.
We need to wait for another Messiah.

Well, other corps do have some very strong SysOps, making up for their lack of a comparable exec – Jinteki has Caprice (a must-include in many Jinteki decks), while HB has Ash. Weyland has… Simone.

Well, if only a way to recycle your agendas from archives, cause losing because you’re flooded early in the game is a bad time, like pizza when you need French fries.
None of those guys are executives like Jackson, and all of them move aside for Mr Howard in a lot of corp decks. Would you trust your security to Simone Diego over Jackson Howard? The answer doesn’t even thematically make sense does it?

The third cycle on your list is probably best described as “Leadership Cycle” because they’re all supposedly in charge.
Mid-Level Execs are certainly those you’ve identified.
One too many to be viable in a Tennin Trick of Light build.

I’m actually really looking forward to it. I’m going to miss a lot of cards, don’t get me wrong (RIP Faerie, Pop-Up, Chaos Theory, J-How, etc), but it’s going to create a slew of new deckbuilding puzzles. Should be a lot of fun.
Also Account Siphon is never going away so I’m basically set.
