Yeah at 2 and 4 it would have been an interesting threat in a weyland midseasons build, but two clicks for 2 cards milled seems like something the runner doesn’t need to worry about.
The jinteki trap/utility card could be pretty sweet in a deck with snares and fetals and such.

i was really expecting it to be once per turn, but this is every time you use a trash ability. Geist is going to be so fun

In regards to Geist, is there a functional difference between the trash symbol and the word Trash to refer to the same action in game? For example “Trash an installed card: Target Icebreaker gets +1 Strength this turn” versus “: Target Icebreaker gets +1 strength this turn”. Obviously one refers to trashing the card it’s printed on while the other lets you trash other cards, but they are both Trash abilities, right?
Yeah, you could use it to make a legwork guaranteed fatal. In a Cambridge style deck, you can mushin it, and then use it to get the mushin back, while dumping shocks and shI kyus in archives

I think this is just another reason to never legwork these decks, but I completely agree that it would be a sweet play. It’s great with dedicated response team decks too letting you set up snare / tgtbt kills
advancable non agendas that you get value out of when run as well as when not run are deceptively powerful imo. I might consider slotting one of these in RP to at least try it out. The one issue is that people often domt run my remote in RP after early game making it not very attractive and probably not worth the slot. Baiting runs with traps is fun though, that was the one thing I ended up using chronos project for.

no, it needs to be a paid ability with a trash cost like All-Nighter, Cortez Chip, the B&E Suite, Grappling Hook, etc.
trashing a corp card or selling something to Aesop’s don’t count.
EDIT @below: there’s no trash symbol, so no.
it’s the same as Aesop’s: trash something else, so it doesn’t trigger Geist
Feedback Filter’s trash to prevent 2 brain damage does though.
