Seems rude to use Sifr in a situation where Qianju PT could finally get its chance to shine.
Is the end for netrunner really this imminent? They supported Call of Cthulu for much longer than they have Netrunner so far. Where do you think they are putting their resources?
Sorry, I have a weird sense of humour, that was a joke.
Nothing goes over my head. I would catch it!
I’ve met someone who double sleeves all his ANR cards. He uses KMC perfect fit and KMC Hyper Mat. When the cards are first double sleeved there will be an air bubble, but if you put these in a binder or otherwise store them in such a way that they are pressed flat the air bubble will go and stay gone. I think that process takes some weeks. I tried it and it worked fine, but i just decided that for now i’m happy with a single sleeve.
Thank you for your inputs!
Forgive my ignorance but what is the point of double sleeving? Is it for the extra protection or is it to give the cards a bit more weight so they feel better to use? I am just curious - I’ve never seen it before.
It’s primarily a way of protecting the cards. One sleeve obviously has an opening at one end via which liquid spills and the like could get in and ruin the card. Double sleeving closes up that opening as the second sleeve is sleeved in the opposite direction over the first. It does give the card a certain solidarity. There are videos on youtube of people showing themselves double sleeving, such as this one here: - YouTube .The person i referred to in my last comment got in the habit of double sleeving all their cards from doing so with Magic the Gathering cards. Magic the Gathering cards are sold in random packs, with some cards being quite rare, which gives them a high resale value, so protecting them with double sleeving means protecting a relatively high value assert.
It depends on how you are double sleeving. Perfect fit sleeves fit inside standard sleeves, but you can also sleeve outside your sleeves as well to protect your art sleeves and prevent scratches. Outside sleeves are cheaper to replace than standard sleeves, so many people use them to protect their sleeves and keep liquid out.
Regarding KMC Hypers, is red really a burgandy? Anyone use other colors than red/blue? Just got a large Netrunner set from someone and want to double sleeve them. Anyone use the kmc perfect fit hard sleeves inside their Hyper matts?
Netrunner promos are also quite expensive. If you were to lose a standard Netrunner deck due to a major liquid catastrophe, replacing single cards from dozens of packs won’t be cheap, even if none were promos.
Anyone used Ultra pro Eclipse sleeves?
