Surfer, Dude!

How’d it go? List?

it went okay

i got some revisions to consider, ill post the lists i used and what i issues i had with them later tonight :3

Thanks, I have 2 theory crafting decks I want to run still:
Stealth Surfer · NetrunnerDB (Kit-Stealth Build)
Beach Bum · NetrunnerDB (Exile-Fracter only build)

I tried Torch/Alpha with Test run Scav and Stimhack

and Study Guide, with Refractor Stimhack

Both heavy on interfaces.

TLDR: Study was too slow. Torch felt okay needs refinement. YOU NEED AN ANSWER TO RP’s REMOTE. I tried Employee Strike in the Study version, and I tried Alpha in the Torch one. But you NEED an answer, or you need a full breaker suite.

I believe that. Full suite isn’t that hard; you may want a barrier breaker anyways exactly because of RP. It’s probably the right way forward so that you can face check anyways. That, or maybe Faust? Deck already has a bunch of dig.

I think Surfer almost needs Clot, or you will get rolled by some FA. And Surfer is 3. You just dont have a ton of influence to spend on stuff.

Its a weird balance. My overall view has been ‘I need to refine it, and its stupid hard to play well’

I’ll keep at it, but theres a lot of conditions and moving parts so the more focused you go, the better you may be off.

You could always play it out of Anarch, I recommend Quetzal

I played it yesterday, and the only reason I didn’t lose to surfer and medium was a 6 deep remote with batty picking off the surfer immediately (with negotiator) and caprice in r&d. The only way to not lose seemingly, each server only took 2 clicks and 2 credits for each ice over 1. Like, what?

That was against me :stuck_out_tongue: I remember losing every single psi game. There must have been at least 10.

OH YEAH AND YOU WON THAT FUCKING GAME SOMEHOW!!!

In this thread, Caprice isn’t broken.

But I did win every psi game

Now that I think about it, I’m having a traumatic flash back, I keep mixing the results of that game, and one where I played Kate with rabbit hole and stupidity nexus. I meant security, but auto correct knows better, so I don’t know exactly what happened, but I know I want happy/satisfied hahaha

Is anyone thinking this card was made with the new Indian spoiler panchatantra in mind? if its what i think it is, then its gonna be freaking awesome, way better than paintbrush.

Do we know what Panchatantra does?

there was a try to decode it in reddit

I’ve been playing this deck a bunch on OCTGN recently and it’s been doing really well! I’ve made some changes to the original:

  • Took out Multithreader
  • Took out the weaker econ
  • Added more recursion
  • Added DDos (so good!)
  • Added Clot

I don’t think the deck is 100% optimally tuned yet (new version is much better), but I am having a lot of fun
