This deck basically takes the apocalypse Maxx engine, since Omar makes it easier to land apocalypse.

Just noticed this deck needs a way to break turing on a central. Add in a single force of nature (vomits in mouth)

Three symmetrical visage seems a bit overkill. What about dropping 1-2 of those for some Dirty Laundry?

Thats an idea.

Not running Pol Op seems like a misstep. Does it want siphons?

Im using this as a conversation starter, realistically id probably cut the siphons entirely go all in on APOC and add a levy along with a polop

Apoc seems awesome here. Being able to just run Archives 2x (fixed) is a huge boon to that style of play. Now it needs a way to trash stuff and recur things if you’re going that route. Cut Siphons add 3x Aesops. Have 2 infl left over, Yog and Pol op? Trope might be helpful.

Just to clarify

Click: Make a run on Archives. If successful, instead treat it as a successful run on another central server. Use this ability only once per turn.

So only 2 runs on archives. But it still works to your advantage because you can either run archives twice or run archives + the other server depending on which is cheaper.

It’s going to be a different deck entirely, but a couple strong cards that Omar makes even better are Bhagat and The Turning Wheel.

Oh I hadn’t even thought of that what a good idea.

My mistake. I guess it’s not completely broken.

@TheBigBoy we could also increase the threat of cards like Lamprey here.

Just wanna say 2 things:

  1. It hadn’t occurred to me before, but Apocalypse out of Omar will have even more of a surprise factor since you expect him to be running archives anyway.
  2. The title of this thread made me chuckle!

I think lamprey isn’t super good since the ID is only once per turn.

With Omar you want to force rezzes on HQ and R&D proper, since that ICE will be half as effective as archives ICE. They have to put their best ICE on archives but if you attack that last then they will not get to use it/may not even be able to rez it for quite a while.

I think Omar is a great ID for a reg-ass game. Sadly Damon hates reg-ass for seemingly no reason so the 12 inf is crippling.

I don’t see apoc being any better for Omar. Apoc turns archives into a credible threat, Omar already does that. I would just slightly increase HQ pressure cards and blowing up ICE. It’s probably all you need.

Yeah I agree. Omar’s more of a Noise-type runner where you have to spread yourself thin defending all 3 centrals. Stuff like Medium and Nerve Agent seem good.

I played a few games with him yesterday using the following list. Well, with eater rather than night and memstrips for deep red, those have now been removed. In 5 games I didnt need install a breaker once. It felt really strong and oppressive and im a terrible player so im sure something could be done with the framework.

Just want to point that cards like account siphon, legwork and Keyhole does not work with Omar’s ability, so this math is a litlle bit loose.

Obviously don’t run those cards with Omar
