Wow I hadn’t seen Breach mentioned. Seems like a great fit

Breach’s boost is pretty nice, kind of a bummer against single sub barriers but you’re already invested in a ton of set up, gear checks are going to suck either way. If you’re doing this in Crim I think 3x Baba Yaga is a necessity given the order independence (you need to draw & play BY before breakers).

I broke a fairchild 3.0 for 3 credits today. It felt good. Ichi for 2.

I’m going to test the faerie-houdini-inti rig. Don’t really see why you’d want Sharpshooter in there - sure, 1 for 2 is good, but it’s not a very big improvement on Houdini (2 for 4 for the run), which you run for decoder anyway.

You naturally want clone chip and sacrificial construct in a Baba deck (Scavenge too so you don’t have to wait for Baba if you don’t want to), so a Flight of Faeries build is already sorta in the deck. Early aggression with Faerie and Inti, and transition it to Baba if the corp ices up.

No Smoke? =)

Seems pretty playable! Any setup that beats Fairchild 3.0 or Data Tracker cheap is really nice.

I mean, I’m not some kind of expert on the subject. I was just saying that was what the decks I’d faced used.

Looking at this deck, though, it feels like you could lose 1 or 2 of the Faeries? like, they are supposed to be used on the baba, and you have 3 Special Orders. It feels like the extra faeries are going to get drawn after the Baba is already faerie up a lot. I guess they are swordsman insurance, since you don’t want to use the faerie that is part of the baba and trash it?

Here’s a test list for Hayley Baba. Doubt it’s better than Andy, as usual, and probably has memory issues, and may not even need both Babas. What can I say? I love Hayley. And Cold Read.

After watching CodeMarvelous’ stream, I would say recursion, breaker redundency, or some kind of hard rig protection is essential. The game he lost to Enforcing Loyalty was especially brutal. You don’t want to run 1x of all your breakers if you cannot recur them.

I would say, even with breaker redundancy you have to pack things like Sac Con for Baba Yaga to work.

Which means it is best in green right now, or in a weird Crim build that has Retrieval Run or Sac Con (faerie at 0 and passport at 1 are huge targets).

Which is odd, because while it does increase the efficiency of Stealth, it is largely unnecessary.

Probably needs a closer look. I am sure there is a build in there that can weather the batty and trash threat and bring the pain.

I’ve been testing out Baba Yaga in The Professor. Definite jank territory, and far from optimal, but I’m having a lot of fun. Here’s the list:

Beyond the new icebreaker, I’m really enjoying Rebirthing into Kate early and being able to put on the pressure with a dynamic rig. Yaga has only been a part of some of my games, I’ve played a lot of kill decks in testing, so no definite opinion on it yet. It’s a lot of set-up to get it rolling and econ is an obvious issue. Usually, I don’t rush to get the Yaga combo set up, I just apply pressure where needed and wind up playing a pretty fun game with a smorgasbord of programs with plenty of recursion. I know there’s tons of room for improvement here (I usually detest 45+ card Runner decks, but with the amount of kill I’ve faced, it hasn’t been a burden thus far) and I welcome any constructive criticism.

I would look to some of the old Professor builds with Baba. I really like the idea of a professor build where you just install and cycle your breakers/programs and cherry pick the best stuff for your baba yaga.

Also, check out Professor with Reaver and Aesop’s + Pro Co. The engine is actually pretty solid if you pack Sahasraras. Especially since you can clone chip stuff on corps turn to get an additional reaver trigger.

Could be terrible, but my 5 minute idea to rehash pre-spags pitchfork (faeriefork?), with baba yaga. I don’t even know if I’ve thought about this enough.

Deckbuilder · NetrunnerDB Dumb?

The Stealth one I saw the IceIceHedgeFund guy playing on YouTube looked the best so far.

This has been good. Tech cards can be swapped around, but I like the econ package.

this is the best fit imo. i’m actually thinking of using this in crim with the cloud breakers (and other normal crim shenanigans) as support

SacConstruct seems like a mandatory include, and Geist works well with the other breakers, so that’s the direction i’m going.

Yaga is really an endgame rig, and it needs some upfront pressure in the deck to help it out imo

The thing that makes me most sad is looking thru all these lists with sac con and no clot. Permaclot is still good.
