that’s something a spy would say
I want him to know that I know. I want him to know that I want him to know.
Guessing won’t be necessary.
Yes but, how do you know you want him to know?
I was the one with MaxX / NEH. It was eater / keyhole / siphon maxx. Unfortunately I didn’t get to play MaxX in either of my top 16 games.
Congrats, @lucasli ! Thanks for the one game we played, it was fun!
One of the worst parts about Runner/Corp dominance is where the luck of the dice can determines who moves on from an elim round.
Yeah, I snuck in at 15th so I wasn’t expecting to ever choose. Oh well, it was a great time
I had a blast at Nationals. It was one of if not the toughest tournament I’ve ever played in. I wish I could’ve made Noise a national champion deck but got really close. I lost to a great player in the finals and he really deserved the win. Maybe next year I’ll get lucky again and not crack under the pressure lol. I met a lot of really great people and I can’t remember all of their names but I look forward too meeting and playing against everyone again. I definitely want to thank @hasuprotoss @acejack @Webster for the play testing and help.
My fiance bought me a new backpack before the trip. When I told her I got 2nd she was all excited to hear what prize I won. I told her a back pack. She didn’t believe me. Lol
Wow, thanks. I can’t believe I’m even in the same boat as these players. I watch @Webster play and I am amazed at how great he is.
Look at your finishes this year, and the GC finishes of my list.
I love the humility, but, sir, you deserve to be on this list.
Well, in that case I should brag that I also got top 16 in Conquest nationals the day before.
when i played against @pacer in the fourth round, he actually told me “i’m not even that good!”. i was like, uhhh, i’m pretty sure you’re the best Noise player in the country? looks like the tournament results support that estimation!
was great to meet you and play you. still don’t understand how you managed to fit a corporate troubleshooter and two snares in that RP deck… or how i overlooked checking archives for nearly the entire game to steal a winning agenda…
A couple months ago, I was looking for a player who can play PPVP Kate to help me practicing the bootcamp match ups. At that time, I didn’t know people in US very well, so I turned to Chinese community to try to find a Kate to play on Octgn.
Later on in a dead online Chinese group where no one ever posted for years, I found a player who currently lives in US and been playing Professor/Ken/Medtech against only 3-4 of his local players for months .
I asked him if he is interested in playing some competitive decks like PPVP Kate and NEH/RP so that we could both practice in the SC seasons. He said sure, that sounds fun.
And that is @lucasli, never can i image that he could win the nats at that time. Really well done my friend.
Non-Hostile Chinese Takeover.
I can dig it.
I really enjoyed all of my matches, it was great to meet a lot of the people that I have talked to here and there on the forums, facebook and elsewhere. That Haley Siphon deck was a lot of fun to play against, had to come up with some tricky plays to even stand a chance, still lost tho!
@Victorique was one of my favorite opponents too. Didn’t even know what hit me.
He only thinks he’s bad because he still drops the occasional game to me
