Timmy already posted his decks, but I took a few minutes this morning to look around and update the spreadsheet with as many missing decks as I could find: US Regional Results - Google Sheets
It is, but this is a new change for this seasons.
I have long dreaded the day when Siphon Whizzard would appear on the scene…
Your runner list is quite innovative, I look forward to watching the videos to see it in action.
Any final standings from Portland?
This what you’re looking for?

Go go gadget Gagarin!
Thanks for the great games guys! I look forward to next years 7 hour drive.
I feel like I should tell you folks that the Kate deck and the Valencia deck were both False Echo/DDOS decks. The Valencia deck goes for a powerturn of 3x Medium with Amped Up, and the Kate deck goes with Hyperdriver Keyhole runs. The Kate deck has a rough time with IG (although still was 1 lost PSI game away from taking a game off me), but the Valencia deck is actually kinda scary. I want to say he won either one or two IG matchups? Either way, I was happy to be playing against his corp deck after the cut.
Kyle (@bluebird503) and I were the scum with the IG and Whizz. They’re good decks, people.
That top 8 runner breakdown is a bit ridiculous. I hope FFG is keeping track of these results and preparing some changes real soon…
(Hint: restricting Anarch cards and thus taking away the only playable runner faction is not the answer we are looking for…)
Those Ddos False Echo decks are really frustrating to play against, however good they may be. I lost to one on the last access on the last click of their big turn in he cut, which was unfortunate. Guess that’s what I get for playing a “fair” deck.
Highlight of the day (besides meeting all you Portland folk) was beating IG as MaxX (well, if you count top decking 2 Scrubbers and Moby-ing winning), and watching an Adam deck actually work. Shame it didn’t make top 8.
It was a ton of fun and I hope to see some of the people up here at ETX!
Well yeah, that’s until they unveil the upcoming deluxe that lets two corps play against each other. They can call it “Business and Business”.
Seeing mostly Fastro-less metas confuses the hell out of me.
It turns out that Dumblefork has a pretty good Fastro matchup, because Turntable neutralizes scored Astros, and Whizzard doesn’t break a sweat at trashing SanSan/DBS. Those decks are rarely that heavy on ice, and the Runner noms right through it, then Medium puts you in the ground. At least, that’s why I abandoned Fastro, anyway.
Fastro isn’t good against any of today’s “meta decks.” Whizz, Noise, and Kate are all really good against it. It could do some work in Swiss, but agaist the best players playing the best decks, it won’t last in the cut.
All this said, NEH has been wrecking regionals all over the US. West Coast is best coast I guess
Noise is really bad against NEH. He needs to get super lucky with his mills and single accesses, because you ain’t performing a regular Medium/Imp strategy against a deck with 3 CVS + 3 Team Sponsorship.
Kate is better, but you need the SacCon also to keep the Clot threat alive.
Against Whizzard just play the never-advance game with a stupid remote (Wraparound + anything really).
NEH is the best deck at the moment, no question.
Will be posting more information on the tournament once I have completed my report to my staff and our venue. We ran a simultaneous Top 8 and Runner Up 8 (9th through 16th Seeds) cuts with full prize support for both.
From the Portland, Oregon RC TO.
Has anyone else noticed that the winner of Portland was playing with 18 out of 15 influence in their Corp deck.
Please tell me this is a mistake and they were not just blatantly cheating their way to victory.
I think you are missing that Executive search firm is Weyland Alliance, I count 15 inf.
acoo haven’t implemented executive search firm yet
The influence is OK. The Acoo.net. is probably not implementing Executive Search Firm correctly.
They have 6 non-alliance Weyland cards, so influence cost is 0.
My bad. thanks for the speedy reply.
