This is my first stab about modifications to bring in the cutlery suite and 2x planned assault to tutor them out:

I put in Vigil for the console to put a bit of pressure on their hand size and give the 5th MU that we will need for 3 breakers and 2 utility programs. I will test this tomorrow and post how it does.
Mulligan for D4V1D to take down their OAI Ice early on. If you do that their economy never really gets going and they struggle to deal with aggresive runners - espec with an ability like Kim who can deny further OAIs.
If you’re in a weyland heavy meta play 3 d4v1d and 1 Plascrete. Your planned assaults should almost certainly be lucky find. If not, special order or legwork. Use the cutlery to kill whichever ice you can kill.
I’ve not tried vigil. There’s an awkward synergy/anti-synergy with Ed Kim. I’m interested to see if that works for you.
Yeah that’s fair. I am not confident in the event list tbh I just wanted to see what it would look like. I was really impressed by your list @Hannibal after playing a few games with it last night. I think I just need to slow down my play, manage my economy better and make and few adjustments to the list to improve the Blue Sun match up. No point re-inventing the wheel here.
This works against players who don’t expect D4v1d. More experienced players will defend their OAI ice with something (Datapike, Caduceus, Firewall) even at the expense of bleeding an access or two in R&D.
So part of me kinda wants Atman now instead of Gordian, because that 4str Ichi 1.0 is kinda hell to faceplant most times. At 7 creds it means I solve that and Lotus, and it fixes that hole between David and fixed breakers. The other part is just have a Sucker in hand to install with Grimore before running.
It works best when backed up with Wanton, in my opinion. Either they play around Kim/Vigil (play all the the things right now!) or they play around Wanton (keep extra cards in hand as meatshields for the cards you care about).
Of course, A big Wanton Destruction does turn off Vigil for a bit, but usually they try to draw up after.
CI is the only monkey wrench here, but then again, then they’re playing CI versus Kim, which (I think) leans Kims way.
Hi All, I won a Store Champs today (11 people) with @Hannibal’s list adjusted for more Blue Sun decks that we see in our meta. I still lost my only match against Blue Sun and my corp (NEH Scorch) pulled a lot of the weight but I was happy with the deck and will be continuing to play it and work on it.
My match ups were a win loss to Jinteki Tennin, loss to Blue Sun, win against Jinteki PE, win against Jinteki RP (DQ) and a win in the finals against HB EtF FA. Pretty reasonable showing but I still feel like the Blue Sun match is the one that needs the most work.
The deck list is as follows:
Edward Kim Humanity’s Hammer
15 influence spent (max 15) •••••••••••••••
45 cards (min 45)
Cards up to Order and Chaos
Event (9)
3x Déjà Vu
3x I’ve Had Worse

Hardware (3)
2x Grimoire
1x Plascrete Carapace
Resource (10)
3x Armitage Codebusting
3x Daily Casts
2x Kati Jones
2x Liberated Account
I faced a Glacier build and I wasn’t able to pressure his remote that let him bounce back Adonis many times. I did SMC a 2nd D4v1d to get through a Grim to stop an OAI’d Orion. The main reason for the loss was Archer on RnD and at the base of the scoring remote. Archer is a real problem for this build I think. Any thoughts on how to combat it?
parasite and sucker tokens. Blue Sun won’t bounce Archer. I would even install double data suckers vs Weyland. Another possibility was an earlier suggestion of Atman, but I think Parasite and suckers can do work.
For the record, Atman at 6 completely wrecks Weyland’s influence-free ICE - you only have Nebula/Grim to worry about at that point, which is covered by David nicely.
Figured it would be a good idea to drop my buddy’s Store Champs winning Edward Kim here.
He won it in Halifax, so it gets claim to the title “The Halifax Hammer”
Lots of program tutors. Triple Corroder. He gets in. SMC is a nice tool to help him speed up his game. The only loss it had in the tournament was against my Power-shut-down Blue Sun.
