Aggsec is good in the Criminal matchup where you can pretend to be surprised that they had Inside Job for your Curtain Wall.

In the Shaper matchup you trash… Cyber Cypher and an empty Lady? While they have 3 Clone Chips on the board? Bleh.

That is the correct way of playing it when playing Shaper. I don’t have that much experience with the deck vs Shaper to be fair actually… But more money and Ash? Try and force some plays with oversight? You should be able to outrun them, def with adonis recursion.

Just pick your windows. I didn’t feel confident whatsoever when facing Calim his Kate. But bounced my code gates around, forcing all the cycy recursion.

PPVP kate is the worst matchup for that deck. It all hinges on getting adonis to stick early or getting ultra lucky with an early OAI they can’t respond to. The advantage of adonis campaign snowballs and once you’ve got it going (and got an atlas counter), you can use OAIs to either keep up with their econ or to make a scoring window for pri-req. Crisium is the latest addition as it foils all the event multi the calimsha deck plays.

I have a similar scorch-less Blue Sun deck and am trying reversed accounts for exactly this reason. Seems like a good antidote to shaper MO-economy and okay in early tests but i’ll report back.

Yeah, reversed accounts could certainly be better than Aggsec.

The same guy who won last week’s Store Champ here won the one yesterday as well. I’m a little sore about it because I was the top seed after Swiss (9-1), including 2-0 over the eventual winner… who I didn’t meet in the elims.

Maxx went completely undefeated in 6 matches. NEH was a meta response to what I thought would be a Maxx heavy environment but I didn’t end up playing against Maxx at all. The NEH deck went 4-2 although due to tiredness/silliness I didn’t realise I had the win in hand with a biotic/scored astro/napd and my opponent promptly won the following turn in the first match of the final. Maxx bailed me out in the second final game.

Dan, I want to play wombo combo CI with a burning passion, but every time I sit opposite a Noise player it makes me cry. Do you have any tips for not taking a clone chip / shard directly to Hades in that matchup?

You have two real options: Power Shutdown their Clone Chips or draw your whole deck.

@bblum / @RonZacapa - Not Hades > Pri Req? I’d have thought that important for keeping control of the Noise matchup.

PrioReq is econ in Blue Sun and Hades Shard is useless in almost every other matchups but Noise. The choice is really obvious. And it’s not like noise is good against glacier with mid/high str ICE anyway.

2x Lotus Field, 2x Interns, and 2x Boot Camp (tutor Jackson) are all strong against Noise already.

The only 5/3 that would be better than Priority Req is The Future Perfect, which we can’t legally play.

It’s cool the get the first winning Gagarin deck (AFAIK). You probably won’t know since you weren’t there, but I’d be curious to know how this deck handles passive runners that just build up econ and run on advanced remotes; probably just try to kill them with Scorch or Punitive? Or, Noise players that go for the mill victory. Maybe it was just the surprise factor/meta call for hyper aggressive runners.

Hey,

Can you confirm the top 4 ?, because it’s not what was sent to me via NRTM : http://www.acoo.net/anr-tournament/197/whose-turn-is-it-store-championship/

One of our top 4 (Brad) had to leave and I was unable to get the software to represent that properly, simply due to my inexperience with it.

The top 4 were
1: Reid Delfeld
2: Colin Hanna
3: Steven
4: Jim Delfeld
