Worldwide Regional Results

I know there were 37 players, but not sure on top 8 standings. I’ll probably see the TO tonight, so I’ll get back to you on that.

It would be nice to actually see a breakdown of all the identities brought to tournaments in order to compare it to what’s actually making the cut. For example, right now I can see that IG makes up 9% of the cut, but that doesn’t actually mean anything unless I know what % IG was before the cut.

I think that even though IG represents only 9% of the top 8 it representing 17% of the regional winners is pretty interesting. I would bet that it probably represents less than 9% of all the IDs at the regionals.

Damn. There are more people repping Sol than I thought. Be still my yellow heart!

Probably because Targeted Marketing is so good right now, since a lot of top runner decks are fairly predictable. Also News Hound is great.

I’ve pieced together most of it… Arizona regionals (5/28/16, 37 players):

Nice, so close! Do any of you who were mentioned know who the other person was that tied for 7th?

Watches the number of people clicking on the Apex link go up and up.

His name is Nate Campbell. I know Jon D played against his runner in Top 8 (I think it was Leela). No idea what corp he was running through, something yellow.

Awesome. According to Rachel Hodgins, he played Leela and NEH. We did it, team. :confetti_ball:

Yeah but… this does count towards one of the regionals for my region, so its a bit awkward… It really comes down to if you want to try hard in both regionals or not. Its not the end of the world. I will definitely approach the event different next year

I am still missing data from these regionals:

  • Gaultier, MS
  • Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
  • Düsseldorf, Germany (incomplete, missing rankings for 5-8)
  • Sydney, Australia
  • Heraklion, Greece
  • Delft, Netherlands
  • Budapest, Hungary
  • Hamilton, Scotland, UK Provided by @Seamus
  • Vienna, Austria Provided by @MrMint
  • Salzburg, Austria
  • Itzehoe, Germany Provided by @Labbes (is it complete?)
  • Köln, Germany Provided by @MrMint
  • Barcelona, Spain Provided by @efildriew
  • Bilbao, Spain

I believe I have data from every other regional that I know of. Still working on getting the data up in a format that can be easily read. I’ll see if I can get up some static data to tide us over until then.

Those crazy Europeans… hiding their super secret EU meta data!

Well, I do have data from 13 non-US regionals already. It’s partially just that US regionals started a lot earlier than non-US regionals. There are only 5 US regionals left, and 39 non-US regionals left, according to the data available to me.

More regional results coming in. Thanks to the community!
